We are so thankful to the Collin County District Attorney's Office, and all of those who were subpoenaed countless times over these past 3 years. You were all always so ready and willing to testify against this wife beater, liar and harasser.

You; the many doctors, law officers, school district administrators and all of you who personally witnessed these crimes that were committed against my daughter and the community; you are in our prayers and will have our deepest thanks, for many, many years to come.

David Daniel Leavitt has now served jail time for having beaten my daughter. He has also recently had no choice but to also plead guilty to additional felony charges. He has never had any means of a defense; he is a mere simpleton of our community with a glutinous desire for adoration from others.

David D. Leavitt still faces felony charges in Dallas County for having lied as being a Registered Nurse. From 2000 to 2006, he performed hundreds of invasive medical procedures upon unknowing patients. They had all simply trusted their doctors, having no idea that they were in harms way by being treated by a person who had absolutely no medical experience, or certification, aside from his high school diploma.

Yes. There really are such people out there in your doctor's offices.

I worked with David at an imaging center. Is he in jail now? The Collin Co. Website said he was sentenced to 1 yr. I've been following this for a long time. I had a feeling from the beginning that he wasn't quite right. He never said he was a registered nurse where I worked, in fact, he was very clear that he was not. Nevertheless, something seemed off. One minute he would be super sweet and funny, the next he would lose his temper over nothing. It was a little alarming when that would happen.

His indictment for Practicing RN W/O License was 10/31/07. He's been delaying the trial ever since the Grand Jury's indictment.

Since Topix has decided to delete some of my messages here, this comment above, about my daughter, was made by David Leavitt, who she divorced after hr beat her. He has been convicted of that and also of harrassment against her.

No, this definitely isn't David. Just a former coworker. I knew about the delaying because I've followed on both of those sites you listed. I just wasn't clear about what they say. It looks like he was given a year in jail. I was just wondering if he was in jail, or going. Anyway, I'm glad that all this is coming to an end for you and your daughter, and grandson. Hopefully, he will learn his lesson and not continue with his delusions after it's all said and done.

Every female prostitute is a daughter. No one knows what drives people to make choices like that. And if you met her, you were probably looking for companionship, and your wife was probably not aware of it. I know Tina had/has a heart of gold and loves her family and her child. Sometimes people do things that we consider extreme in order to survive. I can neither confirm or deny those allegations, but why judge someone, lest we be judged ourselves. I would love to visit with Tina now. I cannot find her.

David never did jail time all charges were eventually dismissed.

David has full custody of his son.
