I received an email with what appeared to be a 'scanned' letter to the editor. It was titled "What has America become? The print was blurry and I have struggled to read what was in the printed article/letter.

Could you tell me how I can get a clear (easy to read) copy. Perhaps it could be emailed to me at

I received a copy of this editorial in an e-mail.
I would like to reprint in my local paper and encourage others to do same. How do I receive permission? who should I contact? Thank you!!

Go to the link I posted 2 yrs ago...I'm sure it is in the "public domain' by now...and since there is no known author, I would say: "Go ahead, USE IT!"

Huber is a fictional writer - like so many others that 'sail' the Internet - that expresses the feelings of many Americans (47%).
But 53% of Americans gave us the Government we have today in Washington, D.C. Even if we feel that we do not deserve that kind of Government :-(

Here's what I got A YEAR AGO, by looking into it in the Internet, along with a great Editor at the Iosco County News-Herald! I wish I could attach here the PDF the good man sent me then.
It's been going around the Internet, for 2-3 yrs now.
So today (after I discovered that a Ken Huber was listed in Tawas City in the WHITE PAGES!) I decided to sent a e-mail to the editor of the Iosco County News-Herald, the paper that had published it in the first place ( )
20 minutes later I got this:
Hi George. Yes, we published the letter to the editor more than three years ago - on June 9, 2010 to be exact.
I still get 2-3 e-mails or telephone calls a week asking if the letter to the editor is authentic.
And yes, that is the same Ken Huber, the former city manager of Tawas City.

Attached is a .pdf of the newspaper page it was printed on.

Thank you for your inquiry.
