New charter service in the area

For anyone who is tired of traveling via commercial airline, there's a new service out of West Branch which can offer a comfortable and convenient alternative.

Are you looking for plain internet or high speed or what kind?

High speed internet is a huge commodity here and rarely will you find it.. I have to have high speed so I went with hughes net.. They cost alot like 65.00 a month, But if you are on the net more then the tv as I am it becomes worth it.. Beware of a satellite provider called wild blue.. They may be a few dollars cheaper but if you do your research you will find that few dollars is not worth it.. Hope this helps..

For Prescott Michigan, the only high speed provider is M33access. They are located in Rose City. I have been with them for several years now and am satisfied with their service.

I'm satisfied with WildBlue, I don't watch the TV, and haven't for over a year, I might listen to it when it's on, sometimes, though. The capabilities of DSL are not available in this area so most have either Wild Blue or Hughes. Cell phones don't work in this area either, I'm glad! don't need the radiation exposure or anymore EMF's than necessary. I love the Internet & Myspace!

Skidway Lake, Mills Township, a part of Prescott, has Charter Cable's broadband, Verizon's DSL, M33 high speed wireless. Prescott has Cable through Vogtmann Engineering in Alger on Mapleridge Road.

I wish we had something other than charter for cable service...not dish or satalite, but cable...charter's cable is so unreliable....

I lived near the Forest Lake area for a few years and found that Vogtmann Engineering is Totally WONDERFUL! They are family owner and operated and are so friendly, and very helpful. They also help with repairing computers and they cleaned mine for free. I really love those people.
