And the downward spiral and decay of our once great society continues. I only hope that it's not any of your family that is killed by a stoned driver. But hey, it's their right to medicine, right?

So, why not re-ban Alcohol? or (Gasp!) tobacco?
I'll bet you'd worry too much about your Altria shares to ponder that one....
Since THC is fat soluable it takes more time to fully work its way out of the body. Someone needs to determine what THC level would translate into "too impaired to drive or operate machinery".
It might mean a pot smoker may have to wait a day or two after sparking up before being able get their TCH level down to "Safe to drive" levels...
Boy, I'll bet the insurance companies and the cops are licking their chops over this one....
Think of the potential for DUI revenues / drastically raised insurance rates!
just because THC is stored in the fat cells doesn't mean it is making you "high" the entire time its in there. If smoking one joint leaves thc detectible up to 1 month in the system, do you actually believe that person was stoned for 30 consecutive days?

glaucoma, high blood pressure, diabetis, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, cancer, eating disorder, AIDS, irregular heartbeat, brain cancer, anxiety, anti-nausea..these are just a few of the illnesses medicinal marijuana has been proven to help. I only mention these because "you" know (everyone does) someone that has been afflicted with at least one of these diseases and has used some type of prescribed treatment. I hope none were cancer patients so sick after Chemo or radiation that all they do is vomit and have diarehha that they cant even hold their own head up. Marijuana could have helped them. What do you think of pills or shots for pain? Is it ok at home to take Vicodin,Percoset, Darvon or Valium, Xanax, and so on, that is prescribed by a doctor? Marijuana is prescribed by DOCTORS! Not all marijuana comes smokable, some is ingestable, a person with a lung disease sure cant smoke but they can eat. Tea? yes it comes in tea, butter,puddings... edible products. And if that still bothers you, guess comes in a PILL (Marinol) and has been prescribed for many years. And we all know what a pill popping culture we live in..A pill for everything.
So, really what is the issue here?
