I agree, I thought the chain restaurants would come with the other retail growth and liquor laws passing. Three Mexican restaurants are a bit too much.

I have always heard about this democracy countdown. It is interesting to see it in print. God help us.

How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government."

"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury."

"From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years"

"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. from bondage to spiritual faith;

2. from spiritual faith to great courage;

3. from courage to liberty;

4. from liberty to abundance;

5. from abundance to complacency;

6. from complacency to apathy;

7. from apathy to dependence;

8. from dependence back into bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Gore: 19 Bush: 29

Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000 Bush: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million Bush: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Gore: 13.2 Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..." Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, ignore this message. If you are not, then pass this along to everyone you know to help them realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

Mr America, the whole premise of your cut and paste job is flawed. Landlords and business owners are republicans. If illegals didn't have a place to live and a job they wouldn't be here. Period. Can you understand that? You're suggesting the republicans can fix a the mess they created. The fact is we already said "goodbye to the USA" 25 years ago thanks to people like you who support lying, thieving republicans. Deal with it. Now pass this along to everyone you know to help them realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

Landlords and business owners are only Republicans? That's interesting, I never knew that. I bet alot of Democrat landlord and business owners would be interested in that little tidbit of info.

So your premise is that there would be no illegals here if ALL the landlords that house them and ALL the businesses that employee them were not Republicans?

I would like to see statictics that prove your conjecture. Your's is an interesting theory but you speak about flawed. Just because Democrats are bleeding hearts who think we, the taxpaying US citizen, should save the world does not mean they are not as capitalistic as the rest of us. They own businesses that employee illegals and they own property that houses them just as Republicans do.

Deep down inside you know as well as anyone the bleeding heart liberals FEEL for these people and believe they are entitled to all the social services the US has to offer. They just think we, the little people should pay for it, not them.

Thanks to lazy, freeloading, entitled, something for nothing people like you we are in the mess we are in.

Oh, my post #8 did not say it was a Democratic or Republican problem. It is a bipartisan issue and an AMERICAN problem.

if u get an o'charley's, a dollar tree, a bowling alley, a ruby tuesdays, then next you'll definitely need a walmart (so all of us don't have to drive soooooo far to covington) then we'll have to have a mall, more clothing shops and home interior stores, thrift shops to sell the interior stuff we don't like nomore, some bar and grill establishments, more drinks served, more people, then more establishments, and, at last, a LOT more crime....pretty soon it'll be time to move out of town because we all want the 'country life'

So, White people wont do the jobs mexicans do. who do you think did the jobs before these wetbacks took them away from us. That's right you got it Americans did them and would do them again.

Have you ever seen or been in a Mexican ghetto? A town that was a nice place B.M.( before mexicans ?) Have you ever been out if the hills and seen what the mexicans are doing to America?
Are you old enough to have seen what this country was and what it's turning into?

Don't forget every time there is a American that is a victim of a mexican that is a victim that didn't have to happen if the mexican was in mexico where they belong.

Closed The Borders Now
Deport them now, Deport them one and all and their nasty little anchors
