Laws in Atoka

I live in Blaydes estates in Atoka. Recently my son and many of his friends were told that they could no longer skateboard on neghborhood streets by an Atoka police officer. They were further told that if they were caught skateboarding in the street again they would be given a citation. I have tried to look up the laws of our town to see what our kids can and can't do with no luck. There are no sidewalks in this area and many people bike, walk, ride scooters, and skateboard in the street. I feel as long as the kids are staying out of the way of traffic and skateboarding on low traffic streets, such as the dead end street I live on, they should be allowed to pursue this activity. I know the police have a lot of things to do with the population of our city growing in leaps and bounds and I support them in their effort in keeping our neighborhoods safe. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this situation.
Does anyone know where the laws for our city can be found?
