I hope they're able to get it together and get this park opened up... even if it is just a part of it at a time. The longer it sits, the more money it's going to take to get it operational.

I miss this park so much. I have walked through it a couple of times this summer and its really sad to see. For a fact I know there are people willing to donate the time to help clean up the park. It is really missed every single summer it is not open. Hopefully something can be done to change the closed status to open.

yes, the park is dead but i think it can be alive and well if only it would reopen in a new direction
the older generation wants everything the way it was
the younger generation has been raised on Disney World and Cedar Point
there needs to be a compromise
expand the waterpark and keep only a few vintage rides such as the blue streak, the merry go round, maybe get a ferris wheel in there somehow
focus on quality food, small specialty shops, and events such as festivals, concerts, vintage boat and car shows, picnics. clean everything up but keep the "good ole days" "victorian" "1950's" atmosphere
this will keep the younger generation happy because they are not expecting an "amusement park" and the older generation can reminisce about the way things used to be
people do not want to spend money in a delapidated old worn out park that used to be nice in the 1970's
