I went to the second day of the much hyped DO AC Seafood Festivel at Bader Field. $10.00 just to get in, $5.00 to park. Vendors who charged up to the max limit for little food and the entertainment was trashed by the igornant idots from WZXL who had their music from their station, cranked all the way up, this while Bubba Mac, a local Blues ledgend, stood up on stage, waiting for the disrectful idots from ZXL to turn off their station's music so we could hear Bubba play while sitting on broken down picnic tables on a windswept former tarmac. He was visibly upset. He didn't have that problem in North Wildwood when he played there this past Summer, only in DO AC. Bespeaks the mentality of that sorry-assed town.

You started this thread complaining about $10 here and $5 there and then complained about the vendors being rip offs. So it looks like I had enough brains not to attend this Seafood Festival unlike yourself, who obviously got ripped off.

What a difference a city makes! Saw Bubba at the Ocean City Music Pier Saturday night, the place was packed, people were dancing to his music, no having to tune his instruments over a blairing WZXL radio station and between sets like at the Seafood Festivel in AC. There was a fireworks display too! Unlike 'DO AC' where there was hardly anyone to hear the bands, sit at broken picnc tables on a windswept tarmac of the old Bader Field, we had great seatng in OC and the food vendors, unlike in AC, were not a bunch or ripoffs.
The only fly in he ointment was their idot security guard. During the first band that was a rock band, there was a loud mouthed man who was obviously in the bag. The big deal guard came up to him, gave him a hug and sat down and talked with this clown. During Bubba's performance, this 'guard" flitted around the auditorium, either kicking kids out who were having a bite from a vendor, or, like in the case of an older woman with I guess was her grand daughter next to her, was repremanded for eating salt water taffy they bought on the boards. I, myself, was given a fish eye by this bozzo when I popped a cough drop for my allergies. The drunk? Nothing said about his cup of happy he was sipping on. Considering how that City is gowing downhill, people are leaving, not to mention the prices in their stores, as well as the craft shows on Asbury Avenue, were off the chain. The old lady, by the way, got up and left. Guess they can kiss her coming back again goodby! The Music Pier, by the way, needs a paint job, badly!
