Well, they do have a point. I guess Mr. Yung didn't pay off the right people, as the "offenses" don't seem to warrant forcing the company out of business. Perhaps that's the first thing he has to learn obout the NJ gaming business. Other casinos have been allowed to operate for years with much worse service and numerous complaints.
I'm against the mass layoffs, but as a business owner, I feel this company was certainly cheated. |

I was a loyal Trop player for many years. The employees left after the massive layoff were miserable under Yung. The atmosphere did a 360 when he was thrown out. I hope they do NOT allow him back in there.

As another loyal Trop player I really hope they do NOT allow him back in there. I watched the casino go downhill from the moment he took ownership. Everything from safety, cleanliness, atmosphere, and employee moral was compromised! Things as so much better there since the State has taken over. |
No the Company Wasn't cheated,ALL the laid-off people were cheated!!! |

You got that right. Its one thing to ALWAYS have a dirty place, but when you're given a casino that was as well kept and beautiful as the Trop was BEFORE that idiot YUNG, and let it go to hel* like he did, he SHOULD have it taken away. From what I understand, he's done this to every business he's bought. Pulls down half the labor force and just pockets the money. He should hang his head in shame. |

Just as we have seen from other comments since your posting, they do not deserve a license... and by the way, the Casino Control Commission and the Division of Gaming Enforcement are, for the most part, about the straightest straight arrows in any bureaucracy, anywhere. Yes, maybe in a close vote you could find one commissioner with his hand out, but I doubt it---especially the current five. Remember, the casinos are not run by the city. |
