Christie gave them state money that could have been better spent saving Acme.

I can see why they are in trouble. I played there in June and was told I would get $50 in play at a later date and they would e mail me the promotion. I have yet to see it.

The hell you clowns blowing about! I've seen NOTHING in the media that even implies Revel is tanking! Am I missing something?

I have stayed at Revel three times this summer and really like the place. It is breathtaking to look at from the outside and the interior is amazing. It really does look like it belongs on the Las Vegas strip.
if you compare it to the other hotels that are in desperate need of renovation it really makes you appreciate what they are trying to do.
As far as prices go, I have checked prices online (e.g. Expedia) and all hotels in Atlantic City are what I would call expensive on the weekend. But these properties are located on the ocean and hotels are also expensive in Rehoboth and Ocean City.
The food - the food is really good and a lot of the restaurants they have there are also located in DC. The could probably use some drink specials but the prices are comparable to other upscale restaurants in AC (e.g. in Borgata).
So I don't know if they will make it with the heavy loan burden they are stuck with but even if they get sold to someone else I will still go. Its a great weekend getaway from the Washington DC area.

Since my last post, per the news, Revel is now 8th in terms of revenue with other casinos. Coupled with they have their hand out for another loan, I don't know how they will make it after the Labor Day Weekend. That whole town, as I see it, is going to be in some real deep finncial doo doo this coming Fall and Winter! Hope I am wrong, but don't think I am.

I will never step foot in Revel!! They just canceled my comped room for this weekend and labor day weekend. This is a first for me. I have never had a comped room canceled. If I would have known this earlier, I could have booked at Borgata with no charge to me. Revel has zero respect for its customers. Their actions speak volumes. I have always been a good source of referrals for Atlantic City. My New York wall street friends will definatly be steered away from Revel. Borgata still steals the show!

Don't blame you one bit, chief! As far as I am concerned, the way "DO AC" is going, the last person out, turn out the lights! Damn shame that the powers that be thirty years ago when the City was designated as the only casino resort in Jersey, never ran with the ball and let the City become the crap hole it is today. And the State has all it's eggs in one basket on how their fortunes will rise and fall along with AC's economy! Wait till after Labor Day and before Memorial Day next year, fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride, folks!

Revel made a huge mistake, they wanted to be a resort they made no accomondations for players. They do not have a High Rollers club. I had every intention of going over to Revel figuring as a Signature Member of the TAJ and a Black Label member of Borgata i would be afforded all the perks i was used to. I was offered a room and a small amount for eating but no club. I was told we are a resort first a casino second. Well in Atlantic City that dosent work, we are used to lots of perks and if we dont get them we wont switch casinos. Big Mistake Revel time to make amends to all the High Rollers you offended.

Yesterday I was a little depressed when I found out a woman who smelled from Brooklyn was sent a comp room and $100 slot play from Revel. She said she had never applied for anything nor been there at all! GROSS!

I have been there four times and lost hundreds of dollars, and just finally got a comp room and food. I also made sure I was clean and pressed, which I'm not sure means anything in Atlantic City.

What does someone who smells from Brooklyn smell like??? I think you were offered nothing because of your Long Island holier than thou low class trashy attitude. How much did you play 20 dollars??? Do you hold a high level card from another casino??? where you nasty to everyone you encountered?? Something tells me you go from casino to casino seeing if you can get something. Thing is no one gets anything from the casinos unless they are spending. They are not looking for someone who looses hundreds of dollars in 4 visits spend thousands or be happy with whatever you get or dont get. I agree Revel isnot good to their players but you would not be considered a player.....

. Hi mr trump. How are u? Is this quote really yours? Anyway you can see my quote down below. I used to work for u 1996-1999. Did you check out your casino now ??? They finally get abound to spruce it up. It was peeling in the front with the giant stairs. They just started painting it at the end summer.? But the peeling stAirs are still there as of today thurs. Aug. 30 2012. I know you sold the casino. They just use your name. People still think you own it & are making rude comments about you & how your property looks. Why don't you walk away from these people that own it now. They are giving you a bad name. Thanks for hearing what i had to say.

You're way off this time. Someone who smells did not wash their armpits and use deoderant. I am not trash, you are, because of your rotten evil mouth. You sound like a dry drunk, with your abusive mouth.

You can get really evil, as if you're bi polar, schitzophrenic, or in menopause, or perhaps diabetic. Get a grip on yourself. You sound REALLY unhappy. Its showing.
