Well the June win figures are in for the casino industry and Revel is 8th in winnings, with other casinos like the Borgata, Tropicana and others on top. This does not bode well for such a glitzy, brand new casino. Just hope what I have been saying all along does not come to pass. Alot is riding on if they fall on their ass, or not!

Like everyone else, I was sweltering in the heat in my power outaged home, decided to hit the casinos to cool off. Isn't it great, the gamblers are kept cool and comfy, while the rest of us are still in the dark, no ac, hot water, nothing, homes! I hit the Revel and guess what, on Saturday, it was virtually empty! I was astounded to see the pausity of foot traffic in a place that now has free parking, to pack em' in! And they got their hand out for $50 Million to stay open? God help them when after Labor Day hits and we go into the Fall and Winter months. If they can't make it now, especially on a 4th of July holiday, when will they ever break even?
I was over there July 11, it was a Zoo!

Revel. Sorry so late on the answer. But then on July 31, I went there again and had a pretty disturbing experience.

Once again I was bullied by an ugly married couple at the Revel Casino.

This has happened to me at the Borgata, the Taj, the old Trump Marina.

This is how it goes: an ugly older married couple for some reason singles me out and decides to do a number on me. The husband sits on one side of me, the wife on the other. I feel like I'm in bed with these two ugly people, ugh!

I leave, and one of them jumps into my seat hoping to get the enormous amount of money I have put into the slot machine. Haha. Many times it isn't much, but sometimes it is.

So it happened again at the Revel last Tuesday. I mouthed the words you S.O.B. to the man, and he called security! They took his word that I was the perpetrator! I ended up getting in trouble for THEIR aggression!

I spoke to a woman about this, and she said she had experienced the same thing. Her strategy is to put less money in the machine. But I am so fed up with this!

I wonder if these two low lifes were as good a customer as I am. I was very turned off after this experience.

Unfortunately, it is my experience that single women are not respected at all in AC. Not all of us are bag ladies, but they don't seem to be able to tell the difference!

On a positive note, I am happy to report that the Taj, instead of having a nudie show, has a tasteful show instead. Thank Goodness.

hi splenda how are you tonight? Look I know I just snapped but I'm not the bad guy. That couple you were talking about think they know exactly what they are doing. They wanted you to throw as much money in that machine as you could before you got frustrated and left so they can hop on and hope for the win. Its a very amateur scheme. Make it difficult for people to be around you. Be loud, cuss, whatever.don't give into that one.

Thanks, dear, but I've been there, done that too many times. I thought casinos were supposed to be for fun.

I'm trying to think of an excellent way to get people back for doing that. Haven't come up with anything yet. But I will.

Splenda,
May I suggest that you eat a bunch of cabbage before you play the slots. That works for me and keeps the area clear for hours!!!
