7 nabbed in Nassau County food stamp fraud sting

Nassau County stores took food stamps as payment from undercover investigators for prohibited items like cigarettes and alcohol and gave cash kickbacks, according to the Nassau County district attorney's office.

I know the guy from J&J. He's not a bad dude. He was probably doing the people a favor as they probably needed cash instead of food at the time. Ms. Rice is clearly looking to build a name for herself. Why don't the cops go get some real criminals like rapists, murderers, drug dealers, etc. To me, it's really not such a big deal what the guy from J&J did. Now he's screwed. Go after the real criminals Ms. Rice.

who ever posted on October 5th sounds like the kind of company we would expect from the owner of J&J. This guys interpretation of "Not a bad dude" is clearly jaded. This is what the cops are for. If you are receiving food stamps you are accepting OUR tax dollars. Why are my tax dollars doing to pay for someone to buy CIGARETTES and ALCOHOL. This is about a scumbag deli who should be shut down. Think of all the kids who have crackhead parents, who now have no food because mommy or daddy found a way to cash in dinner for some dope. "J AND J SCREWED" is obviously one of the less educated residents of Long Beach. Don't blame D.A. Rice, this is one of the first things I actually agree with her on. Who ever knew about this within the J&J organization is the real criminal.
