My granny told me about this article. Honeysuckles, jasmine, wisteria, and grape vines do well on fences.

My Mom has a wall of Jasmine that is 10 feet high by about 30 feet long.
When I walk over to her house I can smell it turning the corner a block away. I have some climbing Clematis on some trees. A Huge orange trumpet vine that goes all the way to the top of a Live Oak. With the hummingbirds molesting them daily I always have a dozen orange flowers in my back yard. I'm about to plant 6-8 Red Climbing roses to cover a 20 foot section of chain link. It's the Jackson and Perkins "Don Juan". Really deep red climbers. |
