What a shock and horrific thing to happen to Shannon. This is so sad. Our hearts go out to her surviving children and family. May God watch over them and give them strength.

You'd think a life jacket would of been of some help, If she had one on.
The summer hasn't even started and already a fatality in the water. Im sure the drowning will be the next thing.. everyone should be on the look out for the ones who can't look after theirselves.Sad but
True!

i was on the intercoastal saturday in crescent beach and we had a "gnat" jumping our wake for a few miles. at one point, he ran ahead of us and came directly at us from the side. those people are idiots. if they want to jump waves, they should go to the ocean. my 2 year old son was on our boat and god forbid that idiot ran into us.

Jet ski owners are the most defensive people you can see. They are filled with buyers remorse about a week after buying their expensive toy.$199 payment per month is a lot of cash for a piece of junk that depreciates and sits in your garage or driveway 360 days out of the year.

There is nothing to do on a jet ski: you go here and there and back here, make some crazy turns. You spend more time pulling them in your trailer, unloading them at the boat ramp and trying to find a parking spot for your rig and trailter than on the water.

Me and my pig nosed son smell a lawsuit. The sucker family will get a cool million, from which I get $700,000 and they get $300,000. That's what I call giving it back to the little guy!

PS Call me I need a new Bentley ASAP

The water ways and recreational areas are for all to Enjoy,Those who have boats ,Those who ride jet skis and Those who just try to fish off the banks when GIANTS with boats come barrelling through with no regard to the "gnats" on the bank who have to back away from your wake.Everyone has the right to enjoy themselves and what happend To this Lady was nothing more than a tragic accident.

Let's see. Couldn't go riding Saturday because of a bad storm. Yesterday I shampooed carpets. I had to come back to work just to get some rest. I rescued 5 baby rabbits. Their mother abandoned them. I live on a farm and have around 40 something animals to feed, not to mention 3 1/2 acres to take care of all by myself because the hubbies sick. Didn't get to go for a ride. Tomorrow it's not suppose to rain so I'll ride it to work. That's a nice ride from Callahan to Jacksonville. 51 miles round trip. Can't wait. I need it.
