615 Entertainment, owned by former Nassau County resident brings Country Music to the First Coast. Danny Basham of 615 Entertainment based out of Nashville TN is playing a huge role in Country Music in 2009. Working with some of the top names in Country Music, Basham has recently brought such acts as Crossin Dixon from Broken Bow Records who also is label mates with Jason Aldean, Craig Morgan and other great artist to the First Coast. After moving to Nashville, Basham became personal friends and manager with Nashville Star JARED ASHLEY. Ashley has played the Mid West since leaving the show and since teaming up with Basham, he has ventured down in the Southeast performing his very first Jacksonville show this Saturday at Bourbon Street Station. www.ticketleap for more info.
Seamlessly amazing fans with the unparallel energy of his live shows and his honky-tonk country sound, Jared Ashley has been packing them in every weekend for more than three years at Nashville’s World Famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge performing with the Dirty South Band. A long list of well-known recording artists and musicians have frequently jammed with Ashley on the stage of the famed Lounge including Merle Haggard, ZZ Top, Blues Traveler, Toby Keith, Joe Nichols and Tracy Lawrence, Jason Aldean to name a few.
Born in Hobbs, New Mexico, Jared relocated to Newnan, Georgia at age three where he spent most of his childhood. At barely five years of age, Jared received his first guitar for Christmas. When Jared was in the 10th grade, his family returned to Hobbs and Jared found himself honing his skills playing guitar and writing music in his spare time.
After graduation from high school, Jared joined the US Navy where he served for four years in Yokosuka,Japan. Following his dream to play music, the charismatic, handsome sailor played weekend gigs at George's Country Bar in Tokyo fronting the house band. While in the Navy, Jared also played two Persian Gulf DOD tours for over 20,000 military personnel and toured in more than ten countries around the world.
While in Japan, Ashley met a friend who became extremely interested in his music and offered to introduce him to his grandfather. With fate working Ashley's way, the young man's grandfather, Everett Zinn, was well known in the music business in Nashville and had helped many a rising star, including George Strait. Everett heard a demo of Jared and asked him to come to Nashville to meet a partner of his named Howard Fields, who at the time managed the talented Rebecca Lynn Howard.
With only one year left in the Navy, Jared planned a trip to Nashville to meet Fields and Zinn. After the meeting, Fields sent him off with advice that would change the country singer's life. Following his advice, and after completing his Navy career, Jared made the big move to Nashville. Once in Nashville, Jared picked up the house gig at the World Famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge and signed a management deal with ZinnFields Management that lasted nearly five years. Jared eventually caught the eye of Doug Johnson, former president of Giant Records and currently the head of A&R for Curb Records. Impressed and supportive, Johnson took Jared into the studio and cut four songs. Later, Jared recorded a four-song demo which included the infectious The Next Glass. The impressive ballad became a listener favorite on one of Nashville’s top radio stations, WSM FM, and quickly created a buzz about the new artist throughout the music industry. Jared then inked a developmental deal with RCA Records to go into the studio with renowned record producer, Buddy Cannon and Joe Scaiff. Jared also caught the eye of a Hollywood casting director who spotted him performing at Tootsies and subsequently flew him to Los Angeles where producers of the popular ABC network series, The Bachelor, Jared considered amongst four finalists for their Fall 05 season.

It sounds to me like whoever wrote the comment was a Jared Ashley promoter. But whatever, WTF must stand for "White Trash Forever", the Plumber in Yulee - could that be JD Phillips? duh, WTF II you must be "White Trash Forever too", and LearnTheTruth must be too stupid to do just that. No I am not Danny nor his mama, just a friend. To you WTF - drugs? guess you didn't know all drug charges against Danny were dropped -do you really think that would have been done if there had been anything to convict on especially since he was a former cop? Also, you make it sound like he's hiding from somebody in FL. Don't think so. Besides the Plumber in Yulee, you must all be NC cops or somebody that Danny crossed while he was a deputy. You just can't stand it that someone can move out of Nassau County and actually have a real life somewhere else, can you? Just for the info, Danny and his mama are both doing very well and a whole lot better off since they left Nassau which is what I hope to do someday. Nassau County is a lowlife county with losers like you and a bad reputation all around Florida. Unless you have money or know something on somebody you will not ever be anything here. And before you run your mouths maybe you should get the true facts on people and their situations. Danny and his mama just crossed the Sheriff the wrong way and caused a lot of bad publicity for him and he made them pay for it. So why don't you little kids grow up and get a life and worry about yourselves just half as much as you do other people. Everybody that reads these topix forums knows that most you you are the same people all the time. Whatever you do, stay in NC and don't move somewhere where there are decent people and torment their lives. You are right where you belong.
