Who did Les leave his daughter with, when I asked him if he had been married more than once he answered no. Did he and his wife abandon his child? Abandoning a child is just as bad and Tony Alamo |

It wouldn't surprise me. It seems like a common theme with tony. Break up the family. Hold a son, daughter, or a spouse hostage.
Remember my previous post: Here is are some of my opinions followed by a challenge for tony. As you might figure out tony has only two tactics, or "cards" if you will. One "card" is; "You are all going to hell" or "something bad will happen to you." This is one card. Everything you will read from tony or hear from tony has this theme. Didn't Jesus say he loved us? Yes, he did. I think there are some honest Christians currently living at the foundation that have fully realized the "you are all going to hell" is twisted out of context. This brings me to the next and final "card." The next card is the only other card tony is holding. The family card. So,If you decide to leave the foundation tony will immediately split up your family and will not allow you to take your spouse or children with you. Now, the foundation people that have realized the first card is not true, to honest Christian people, are stuck there because of the second card. That's it! two cards that's all. tony has absolutely no other schemes. Now the challenge. tony, if you really believe people are there of their own freewill, I challenge you to do this. Tell everyone to go home and talk things over with their families (privately of course) regarding leaving the foundation. If a family decides to leave (or anyone else). Let them leave with the family intact. There will be NO COMMENTS, NO QUESTIONS, from you or any other members. Got it? You allow them to leave with ALL their family and ALL their belongings; clothing, furniture, autos, etc. Tony, you will never take this challenge. You know why? Because if you did the number of people in your congregation would be zero |

Thanks, I think you should give credit to all the posters here. Well, to God for having mercy on us, to open our eyes and give us direction. Namely out of the foundation. |

Did you send that to their email JackSpratt

How long have you been out? Did you keep up with current events while you were inside? I see you have great insight. But I am puzzled by your political support. Many that get out have a lot of adjusting to do. Many are very bright and have no problem reintegrating into society. As we know, some ( Les for instance), have delusional ideas and opinions. Their need to make up for lost time can trip them up as it is difficult to find direction. You are obviously glad to be out and like many on here very interested in educating and supporting those in need. Give us a brief, without divulging identity, how you made your way out and into the mainstream of life. Inquiring minds want to know. |

Teacher, Before I answer I need to know if you were an alamo foundation member. If you weren't it will be diffcult for you to understand the culture of the foundation.
|
|
Ah, Jack.....and you were doing so well.....there are thousands of us out here who were not members.....will only ex-members need to be the ones to hear your history? Are we not all interested to hear how you made it out and now you seem to be doing well....we just want to know.

Observer, I just wanted to know prior to posting. There are certain terms and phrases only foundation members know. "Foundationspeak" if you will. If I use those phrases you just won't understand. So, in turn my explanation will need to be a bit more lengthy.
I was in a disagreement with tony alamo in 1989. Hence tony asked me to leave. This does not imply I had a choice to stay. Being the generous soul he is, tony gave me 50 dollars for my previous years of faithful service at the foundation. Of course at that point with limited funds and no income I was forced to live outdoors in the beautiful beach resort California city of Santa Monica. With it's tourist friendly beachfront hotels and as some say a city "Where the Mountains Meet the Sea." |

L e s, I w i l l t y p e s l o w e r f o r y o u s o y o u c a n u n d e r s t a n d.
Les, the statement was made that you left your dauther in the compound,is that true? what does that have to do with calling you a lier. The daughter that you left behind was it the dauther of the wife you are married to, or have you had another wife before this one. Or did you have a dauther out of wedlock in the compound? Les I just asked questions I never called you a lier........lay off the lead paint chips. Oh and by the way the song I am writting for you, its great, almost done with it, Cherokee and I will get into the studio this week and get the tracks laid. |

Trooper you really should not be acting like you are and calling your self a christian,God commands this action of you foolish jesting and talking,
Proverbs 14:7,Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. |

Very good teacher. I see you are well read. Did you get the RGB's? I really am surprised there is some outside interest in us. We are unique in some ways but, the basic concept has been used here and there.
Did we keep up with current events while inside? Well, over the years there were times we did and there were times we didn't. In the early 70's the foundation had a television program. Hence some televisions were purchased. Sometimes we had TV's and for some years TV's were banned. Hit and miss on that. Some info came in and some we didn't get. For many years I didn't really know the story on "Watergate". I heard bits and pieces. There were some brothers that kept up with the news. In Bakes a brother turned on the loudspeakers so we could hear the "live" Nixon farewell speach. Those brothers were tuned into the news and knew when it would be broadcast. I remember working in a factory in Fort Smith and seeing a guy (not a foundation member) wearing a Lynard Skynard t=shirt. Finally I asked him what was Lynard Skynard (mispronouncing it of course). His answer; "You don't know who Lynard Skynard is Man?!". We read newspapers sometimes. This was hit and miss like the TV. Sometimes reading newspapers was "banned" and maybe a few years later it would be okay (then banned again). Rock music was definetely "OUT". Not allowed whatsoever. I was surprised when tony recorded a song (about 1982) written by George Harrison of Beatle fame. Hmmm all those years I was instructed not to listen to the Beatles or any rock music. After being out of the foundation in 1989 I listened to "Oldies" from the 70's and 80's on the radio. It was all new material to me. |

Jack.....
This is the reason we stay on line. You have a beautiful way of expressing your thoughts and experiences, and an obvious good education. Consider writing a book of your experiences? I for one would love to read about it, start to finish....Ob |
