First I want people to know that this does back up what I say about Randy Lee being a liar and turning the Butts' case over to the AG's office.

It sounds to me like he DID turn the case over to the AG's office...he asks for asssitance, and says he has turned over the files etc. So, in the past you have called him a lier and said he did NOT turn the case over. At the memorial he said he turned it over and he actually did.

What falls under the category of organized crime in Texas ? Drugs, prostitution, money laundering ? Or, is Lee perhaps saying that this was a "hit" ? I'll try to find it online and see how it is explained.

Then you are miss reading.
As with Sam Rich, Randy Lee ask the FBI to please take the case. He could no longer take the political heat. Words from the FBI.
When you turn a case over you no longer have anything to do with it.
It would no longer be in his jurishdiction.

He only ask for assistance in the case.
I'm suer he had to turn something over to them or they would have been like birds with no feathers.

He did not give up the case or Clint Allen would not be the one Prosecuting it.

I have read and reread it. It in no way says take this case away from the cAss county DA's office.

I have had a number of law officer's read it and that is what they say.
