As the one year anniversary of April's death approaches so many are still greiving this loss. Her friends, her family, and even people in the community that didn't know her. I hope and pray that someday the family will get the answers that they deserve. Please don't let April's memory be forgotten. As a community we need to do all we can to remember what a wonderful young woman she was, and what a bright future she had ahead of her. Let us not forget all of that was stolen from her.

Why even bring Jesse into this! I know Jesse very well and knew April also. I know for a fact that jesse and april dated for a long time. they may not of been exclusive but they were together for a long time. In fact I know for a fact that he was not even in town when this happened to April. He was in Hanibal with his dad when it happened. They did talk a couple of times about getting serious and Jesse asked her to marry him. Unless you know what you are talking about I suggest you not bring names into it esp. when it is a proven fact that Jesse was not in town.

Anyway it is a time now to remember April and her beautiful smile. She was a great girl and I honestly hope her family and friends find closure in the end. RIP April Campbell!!!!

So is this a common thing and should I bring my own shotgun when I move there? I know it's small town and talk- always is- but is Macon's cop really that bad? I know this is about a suicide, R>I>P> April - but I'm wanting a first hander about the actual amount of crimes there and I hope this is sorted out for her family's sake, along with "I miss her". its been one year, one month, 21 days since April died. Until this day i still do not believe it was suicide and it STILL hurts me very much when i go see her EVERYDAY. i STILL cant believe a girl i GREW UP WITH is gone forever. as i talk to willie [her brother] i can see in his eyes that he is missing so much in his life now. now that Art [april and willies step-dad] is gone too, i know april isn't alone anymore and has Art there with her. i miss you so much april and one day we will see eachother again. Just please look down on ALL OF US and keep us safe. WE ALL MISS YOU so so so MUCH!!!! we love you!! RIP April Marie Campbell.

oh and by the way.. as i read some of the previous posts, it upsets me to see that people aren't even talking about april anymore. Please take your other conversations somewhere else. This is for April, not your personal business. April wouldn't like that at all.
