Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm! This reads just like her son wrote it. And what does her husband do for a living,(cut wood) Somebody must have something on her or she would not have been arested. I can't wait til the whole story comes out, if it ever does. Granted, embezzlement of $200. doesn't sound like much but what good for the goose is good for thr gander.

Mrs Stacy Carroll, it is nice at the top, but how does it feel down here with us Seniors now? I am a senior who used to believe in you and did not believe all the rumors I used to hear about you. But as a senior our backs are against the wall and only have one thing left in life! Are you going to step down or wait to get fired??

"200.00" Really?? Is that how much you would buy a POS computer? That she gave away, it was junk! "Stealing" is how you spell it. Go back to school! She did not take anything from the old people. Get your shit straight before you open your mouth!

How do you know it's about a computer unless you are the accused or the son. The paper did not mention anything about a Computer. As for the computers at the centers, they were bought with grant money which was given for the purchase of computers for the centers and there fore it is not her right to give them away, also they were never replaced. It meant a lot to the seniors to be able to use these computers, not every one is fortunate to own their own, they worked fine for the games they played on them or the notes they drafted. The computers were pulled out of the center when they had the flood in the kitchen, which was not even close to the Office where the computers were. How do I know? I know some one that works at the Mccoa office and things go around at the centers. Just because some one is a senior does not make them dumb and uninformed. We don't like to be taken advantage off.

My mistake assuming you are one of them, you sound just like them, but then you know the saying "Birds of a feather.....". When it's all done we'll see who the real idiot is!!!

I hope those seniors who have tried to pile on the "hate Stacy bandwagon' will now shut thier pie holes and find something better to flap thier yaps about. The seniors in Montmorency County have nothing better to do than gossip and stir the pot, and as far as I'm concerned, whatever Stacy is paid, it isn't enough to babysit you bunch of a-holes! Why don't you all take up knitting or volunteering or something productive?

Keep your chin up Stacy and continue doing the fine job you do! Justice was indeed served. In your faces, old farts!

And To Renee and her cronies who were FIRED from MCCOA and led this attempted witch hunt...do you believe in Karma? I'd hate to be in your shoes...having to constantly look over my shoulder. Karma is a muthaphucka!

WTG Kiddicted!! You hit that nail right on the head!! I personally love Karma, Can't wait to see whats waiting for Renee. I heard in Hillman yesterday that most of the seniors at the center didn't believe what was being spewed. I will be voting for there Millage in August...This was all in timing, so that everyone would think badly of the Commission on Aging. Didn't they try to consolidate the center's? The clubs didn't want any part of that. If Marv hates MCCOA that much, he should have wished them well, and go on with live!!

I see that all charges were dropped on this incident...isn't it wonderful that in the US of A - that we are all innocent until proven guilty?
I happen to believe in the good of all people, has anyone thought about what a thankless job it is to be a public servant, working for an underfunded organization? From my observations over the years of the people that harpon a public servant that works so hard for such minimal pay - exactly what do you people do other than complain? How many of your actually get out and do things to HELP the seniors? I know this woman and her motivation is to HELP people, first and foremost. I challenge any one of you to step into her shoes for a week and listen to the constant bitching and moaning by people. Instead of bitching and moaning, try this new tactic - complain and CONTRIBUTE to finding solutions...
So - did the butt burglars that leveled the charges ever come forward? I hope the police prosecute that person for bringing up false allegations or better yet this public servant pursues so sort of civil litigation against them. I bet if she won the settlement that she'd donate the money to the seniors that she loves and cares about.
