this is correct but they do not have any local employees anymore i was told by a employee that there are only 3 people in the service that actually live in the "tri townships" now no wonder even if there are trucks they still cant take calls in there own area..
Actually they employ 15 within their coverage area. Would you like a detailed list?

Unless they're getting extra compensation, I doubt the employees of any of the local services are willing to continue to star in this soap opera. You can't really complain about the service "taking away from the community" when they operate as a non-profit that puts money into new equipment specifically to service patients. If Tri only serviced the local area they wouldn't have half the equipment they have now. Besides, they're helping people when they handle transfers - especially when those patients are extremely ill. Since when do we have an issue with helping people? Are the people in Atlanta so self-absorbed that they can't consider the outsiders, and the families of outsiders, that keep their town alive?

You can't thump your fists about keeping everything local and then slap your forehead and wonder how Atlanta will ever survive without the vacation/hunting/snowmobiling crowd.

I just can't fathom why anyone would have such an issue with the entire service. If you hate someone there, then take it up with that person individually but why are people shaking their fists in the air over the entire service? I've lived in a number of places and I have never seen this kind of contempt for a municipal service.

In regards to not having local employees - "local" is a relative term up here in the boonies. In my opinion, once you get north of Saginaw, anything within 45 miles is local.

I noticed they had a new Critical Care ambulance in Alpena the other day. Congrats Tri, you're obviously doing something right. I hope your growth continues.

It would seem that you people are so busy defending each other and covering up what appears to be wrong doing that a simple question does not have chance.Doing what you are doing will not help when you need a millage to operate.I am sure you have lost two votes here.I am greatful for the service but your PR sucks.

What wrong doing???? You have to vote your beliefs but I really don't know what your talking about. I defend Tri (And others) when persons post lies and run down any public safety service. If you know of wrong doing make it public to the right sources. I am a registered voter also and I don't want my money wasted either but I honestly don't know Where Tri has dropped the ball

See what I mean no-one is able to get along. I feel sorry for all these Tri employees, Lewiston employees, Atlanta employees, etc. Imagine what their families go through having to hear all this on the street. Someone's wife or husband or mother or father may work at one of the above. I only hope some child does not hear on the street these words of hatered that come from all of you. Some child may overhear a bad thing about their parent and how do you think that makes them feel?
Before you publicly insult someone or spread half truths think about who you might be hurting.

Sounds like there are a few EX-employees trying to make tri sound BAD !!!!
Get off thier nutz you losers, they are all trained and very professional in thier carrer, most have made this not only a job or carrer but a lifestyle. They live eat and sleep at the barn, what do you do??
Sit behind fake names and whine that they suck!
I hope that tri knows who these ignorant people are and when your emergency call comes in they just ssit there and watch TV, ignoring the fact that you NOW need thier help.
I can honestly say that the care and proffesionalism of TRI far outdoes Lewiston and Hillman in all areas!!!!
I watch the ambulance leave on calls all day and night, I hear calls responded to in 1 call from tri.
Lewiston and Hillman on the other hand I have heard 3-4 or more calls and still no response from anyone, so you tell me who does thier job and who dont.
So what are you? you bashing Lewiston & Hillman! what do you call it when Tri does not have an ambulance available for their tax payers & Lewiston has to be called in? Drop all this, you people need to get the training & work some of them 24 hrs shift or be a leader..see how it is!
