Why is it that the new Treasurer that Judge Fitgerald, Clerk, and Terri case the Prosecutor picked from my understanding was someone from Yepsi? We had eligable people in our own County that need's a job! Also are very qualified ! I heard one of the 3 went to a wedding and that's how this Lady found out about this opporyunity! It may br hearsay, but her parent's live in Lewiston and she visit's them! Aso, if you look in the add of the Tribune June 8, It reads must br resident of County and a regestered voter! Is this the same thing as what happen with the last person they picked? I think we should put aan end to this! What's taking so long to announce who she is? So she has time to register and live up here ,to meet some of the requirement's? Not sure if it's true ,But I would start looking into it! What's taking so long? How much time do they need? We need one now ,Not when she is ready to be announced!!! THINK!!!!

I guess they did not have the clout of a judge to recommend them after the Yipsi wedding trip last month. I guees my mother lives in Ohio and I live in Michigan so I can now vote in Ohio though I live in Michigan. Echo's of the Good Ole Boys still LIVE ON......WELL FOR THE TIME BEING. Wait till November 2112. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Oh, read the ad in the Montmorency County Tribune. You must be a resident and registered voter and live in Montmorency County to APPLY...This is not over till the fat lady sings

Stop it! we have been hood winked again and we will continue to get the shaft . They are keeping the big secret so they can let the new kid in town they picked pack up and move 200 miles here, register to vote and give them a Montmorency County address. Meanwhile back at the out house things pile up. No rumor they picked a person named Karen Whallin or a name close to that from 200 miles away. I guess we only have about 20 percent unemployment here and she had a good job. Remember this in the 2012 election. the 3 who did this to you. This stinks

Nothing to it! All smoke and mirrors and BS and they think we're too dumb not to know how it works. Picking a out of county treasure, non resident and delaying the oath appointment in until she moves here so we just carry on..."NUTS" I SAY. They are destroying this county one person at a time. Over and over and over. I am really starting to believe that the citizens of this fine county of Montmorency are indeed as stupid and clueless as the governments on various levels think we are. Many letters to the local papers here would make that very painfully clear.

All we can do is allow none of these incumbent 3 politicians survive elections for the elections in 2012. Not a one. Except a few members on the County Commissioners Board other than LaFleche maybe.

This only gives the bounders and crooks more years to finish ruining this county, destroying our credit and credibility.Their is a small light in the tunnel... perhaps a few of the new guys and gals who have and tried to be honest enough serving on our County Commissioners Board to start putting the pieces back together again.

Now pardon me while I go outside and puke

We have a group in this county that will do everything they can to make sure that they stop any chance that our elected people do succeed. They will find fault in anything they do.They do not want to be responsable but try to control everything that is done. The only way they gain control is by finding fault with those in charge. The people in this county need to wake up and realize what this group is doing to our county.

I can't wait until the governor takes over the county a puts his people in charge.the new law that he got passed allows him to do that. That will solve all our problems,we will have nothing to say about anything and and make room for the new world order, can't wait.

I hope he removes Paul Wolne from this planet at the same time. We could send him over to the middle east to Bore Board them to death in stead of water boarding them

Isn't there a time requirement on residency before you can hold a public office? Didn't look it up yet, but do believe there is...

Karen Tyler was born and raised in Hillman, married and moved away, came back with experience and took the opportunity to serve her home town. This forum makes me sick, she isn't from Atlanta so she doesen't deserve to hold a position? Appointments do not require a residency time limit, but hey don't bother getting facts just hang a person for not being an Atlanta lifer, I for one am relieved she isn't from Atlanta, she has some class.
Think about this

Hey, Butt Head lay off Atl and stick to the fricking topic... Karen is certainly qualified for her job and she is adapting quite nicely to her position. She came home to serve her "County". She's from Hillman and her opponent is from Lewiston. Personally, I could give a crap where they're from as long as the person is doing the job. You know what? It was a good pick regardless of the way it was done. As for the opposition, he is currently working for Ted May as a helper. He owns the Redwood Inn, which is closed and in foreclosure.
