school of victory

what happened to the school of victory discussion? I was learning a lot and frankly I think that the parents of the students who attend the school need to be more educated as to what really happens.

If this school does not change its practices, there will not be any students to attend. Its sad because with the right person in charge, it could be a really good school.

There is a lot going on that no one wants to admit from the school to the Church. But, they have been through enough even if most of this last round was self-induced (they know what i'm talking about). I guess it does need to stop and let them work it out. I just hope those children that are attending the school do not suffer. There are some great teachers there.

She is not illiterate you fool. Many of the post on the Natchitoches Forum were removed yesterday, for what reason I don't know. Maybe because they were just plain STUPID.

It is so easy to sit behind your computer and hurl insults about someone. Check your own spelling before you start putting someone else down. Try walking in someone shoes before you decide that you are better than them. From what I understand the school is doing really well.. classes are full for next year. Why does that bother you? If you don't like the school and staff just suck it up there are alot of us that do. You are intitled to you opinion but don't force it on other people. Give it a rest. You may not be taken seriously with misspellings on your comment.

I would not send my child there, but that's my choice. The principal is very nice and genuinely cares about her job and the school. I know this for a fact. ALL schools have problems. NONE are perfect. WE ALL have to try and make the best decision we can for our kids. But, people need to take into consideration what obstacles a small school like that faces. It's not the worst school in Natchitoches and certainly better than the most of the public schools. Just like anything else in life, get over it, if you don't like it you don't have to send your kid there. Some people need to get the thorn out of their own eye before worrying about the sliver in someone elses.

this is a public forum i don't understand why people try to stop others from voicing their opinion it's a freakin forum!!!!!! if billy or whoever doesnt like victory then thats their business all u can do is voice yours i thought that was the whole point and purpose of a forum!!

To bad that "someone" took the other forum off, there was alot of good comments on there. For those of you that had read the past forum then you know that my children attend that school. There is nothing wrong with Victory School and for the church well like i said before unless you attend the church it's none of your business. Don't knock something until you try it so for those of you that don't and never have sent your child to this school how can you stand back and judge it? Why cause someone you know had their child there and he or she got kicked out because they couldn't act right? Is that why you down this school? Trust me it's alot better then any public school that Natchitoches has to offer.

I think victory mom needs to get her head out of the sand and realize that there are real problems at the school. Lack of supervision, lack of policies and procedures, lack of knowing who is at your school at all times, lack of knowledge on how to run a school, etc. I could go on and on. For instance, aftercare has often been one worker to 32 students from 2-12 years old. Yeah, that is a best practice. Anyone can come pick up children without any protocol. Oh, they tried to initiate one, however, they do not follow it. Face it, you are living in a dream world, or just do not want to admit the truth but the school needs help and will not be there long the way it is. I know several moms who are checking with attorneys.

I agree. After school workers are just high school kids and don't have a clue what's going on. There is lack of supervision in the whole school. Policies and rules are changed frequently, there is a great deal of inconsistency. Discipline isn't fairly administered. Anyone can walk into the school at any time, there is NO security. The school was better when Stanley Clemmons was still pastor there (regardless of his reasons for leaving) and Jennifer Withy was principal.
