Once upon a time, civil rights were championed by Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Thurgood Marshall, the Little Rock Nine, and other courageous individuals. And they were victorious in their quest for equal rights.

Today, we endure Tawana Brawley, Crystal Gail Mangum (Duke stripper), the Jena six, and now this no-class, loud-mouthed Heather Ellis b__ch. They don't want equality, they just want money and notoriety. And they are championed by the Sharptons and Jacksons who profit mightily from their shenanigans.

Disgusting.

And to think this woman is teaching children.:( It's a sad day in the world when police officers can't do their JOB, without someone throwing the race card in their face. Notice in the link, most referrals of her facing prison time is due to "cutting in line" much more so then the fact that she resisted arrest. Surely walmart has/had some video cameras going?! Didn't see any mention of anything like that, at register or in parking lot, and I know walmarts have them.

I wonder how she would have acted if someone (of any race) would have cut in front of her in line "to join their cousin" since the line was moving faster.
I don't think this is, or should be, a racial issue. Had she cut in front of a black woman, she probably would have got her a$$ beat. Then there wouldn't be any talk about racism.

LOL, I know when i go to walmart, I make sure and leave a section between my groceries and the person's in front of mine on the belts. More a courtesy thing, but some people get downright grouchy at you for getting too close. I used to work at a Walmart, and it really is just plain old rudeness to jump in front of someone in line, that's almost as bad as grabbing someone's stuff out of their buggy LOL. I can honestly say, I am 26 yrs old, and have never had someone cut in front of me in a walmart checkout lane. I have had people ASK if they could go ahead of me. It's obvious from this woman's "letter quotes" that she is pulling straws with the police brutality/racial accounts. I don't buy it for a minute.

This story is being set up by the liberal media to try to make one believe poor little Heather is being prosecuted for cutting in line at a WalMart. She is up on charges for resisting arrest and assaulting two police officers. She disturbed the peace in the store by cutting in line than mouthing off to other customers, store employees and managers.

Assaulting police officers is a federal offense I believe. This lack of woman belongs in jail where she may be able to control her animal instincts.

I thank God my children are adults and would never have to experience her primative, childlike way of dealing with situations.

When she finally realizes she was wrong and in big trouble she decided to play the race card. I don't think it will work this time. I read about 200 comments from other readers, and she has little to none public support from blacks or whites.

Guess what black folks, whites and educated blacks are getting very sick of the race card as an excuse for everything. It won't last much longer.

Intelligent whites and blacks get together all the time in work and social settings with no problems.

I wonder how many illegitimate babies "don't know who the baby's daddy is" Heather has?

Guess she is hoping for a large settlement from Wal-Mart.

I hope she goes to jail and sets an example for others that decide to be rude, arrogant and act ni**erly.

Do unto others.......... you get the rest

Allow me to refresh your memory about these types of stories in America...
A PCP'd up Afro-American by the name of Rodney King once resisted arrest, assauted officers of the law and repeatedly showed no signs of relenting to the arresting officers when they used necessary force to try to subdue him. The entire thing was caught on tape. Althought the actual footage was quite lenghty, the liberal media chose to show a 1-2min snippet which showed the officers having to result to a more physical means action against King due to his unwillingness to cooperate (the results of PCP). We all know what happened next...

Rodney King was made into a "Hero" by the Black community & the media.I guess I can see why by his record. He was a great role model.

How can you teach others when you do NOT know right from wrong?

Heather should stand up and say what she did was wrong, thats why she was treated the way she was.The police dept nor Walmart owe her anything.

This says it all:

"An ACLU official who viewed the footage called it "inconclusive."

If she was telling the truth the ACLU would be all over this.

She already turned down the plea bargin. Latest from CNN says Wal Mart video shows her pushing customers merchandise back at check out lane and kicking police officers. Just like someone else stated earlier, when she realized that she was in real trouble, that's when she played the race card. Hope she gets the full 15 years, just for being a smart ass (and her race doesn't matter).

People who need to see the black/white element before they even think about the human element.

I Seen That On CNN Just Morning Too. I'm Surprized That She Won't Take The Plea Bargain. They State On THe News That She Would Not Have Too Do Any Jail Time If She Takes It,But What They Didn't Say Was That She Would Not Be A Teacher Anymore If She Does Because The Law States No One With A Felony Can Teach. I Agree With You I Hope She Get's The Whole 15 Years.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Leo

Despite the festivities, something is nagging away at the back of your mind and you won't feel happy until you've done something about it. Do your best to tackle it over the next three weeks while it will benefit from the influence of Mercury backtracking through your sixth house. Your daily routine is filled with an increasing number of details, messages, and information, much of which will be confusing. All you can do is change your attitude to whatever is worrying you.
