A super idea. As a retired member of the military, I appreciate when a business takes the time to recognize those who are on call 24hrs a day. (Yes, even retirees can be recalled. Extend this benefit to those other hometown heroes...Police, Fire, and Emergency Responders (EMT's) who also put their lives on the line every day. They too deserve our thanks for a job that few would even consider.
