Group may go to court to halt foreclosure sales

A national housing activist group is threatening legal action to force Lake County's sheriff to halt the sale of foreclosed properties.

Well the tide is just begining.I am a prime rate borrower but when the heating bills start to come this fall there will be little to nothing I can do.I am in car sales and my income for the year will be below the poverty line.

Uhm... Last I heard, Lake County is just like every other county in Indiana. Hurt by economics, low wages, & foreclosures. Why should Lake County get special treatment?

If the homeowners were bailed out, they would have their house, and the bank would have their money.
If the bank is bailed out, they would have their money and the house.
