Learn to spell and write a proper sentence before you take on a company with a lawsuit, brainiac. And don't quote laws incorrectly, because it won't help you at all.

Customer service?? It's a friggin' collections agency, not HH Gregg! You are NOT their customer, you are a debtor who skipped on paying rent. Duh...

That's so cute, you would take the time to post a fake comment about this company. Very loyal to your employer and that minimum wage they pay you with. If they are so professional why are the rated an F+ with the BBB, hmmm? Let me guess the F is for their "fantastic" professional customer service, right? What a joke.

Not everyone skipped on rent. The apartment next to me caught fire, I had no choice but to move, everything of mine was ruined by the smoke and the water from putting the fire out. And the apts are trying to make me pay for the damages. I dont see how that is my fault.

I too am going through it with them. Apparently the rental agency gave the account to two agencies. I'm paying one agency however rrs says its their account and they want their money.i spoke with rental agency who stated to keep paying the collection agency I've been paying.rrs said not their problem is their account and the three people I've spoken with there are beyond rude. I made the debt and am paying, the agency I'm working with its the best collection agency not demeaning at all. They really work with you. I'm thinking of getting an attorney to deal with rrs. They don't remove it from my credit. The rental agency said they'll tell care of it. Rrs this is not over. I think i will record conversation with them good advise.i don't like that they won't mail me anything either that's giving me a creepy feeling. I feel stuck. Guess I'll let attorney deal with it. No more tears.

I am so sick of them! I called to set up a payment plan with them. They took out wayyyy more than I agreed to being able to pay and now both of my accounts are way under! I called and told them they need to take out the amount I agreed on and they said I never told them that amount. They said that I agreed on something completely different. I talked to another lady and she said well I have your paperwork here and it does say the amount you are telling me so I dont know what is going on here? She transferred me to talk to the other lady again and I started complaining and telling her I wasnt paying it. Her response, "Are you talking over me?" "Do not speak to me in that tone." "I never told you you could pay this amount." Completely lying right to me! I was furious. She finally agreed to put the money back and do what we agreed on in the beginning. I asked her when I could expect the money back because they took ALL the money I had and then some. "Well I dont know 48 hours maybe?" With attitude! I started complaining again and she hung up on me! I called the other lady back and she started yelling at me for no reason! I didnt do anything wrong here why am I being treated like this!? Then she told me even if I make payments and have so much paid off if I skip one payment I will be recharged for the entire sum of money and the entire sum will be put on my credit report! Is that even legal? I mean if I pay X amount of dollars and Y is left obviously I still have to pay Y but can they recharge me for X even though I already paid it? THEY ARE RUDEEEE and NOT PROFESSIONAL! What a joke!

Hey Tim -

I am having issues with them now.. They sent payment early on my account and caused it to go negative for the month of July and August 2012.. They fixed the issue in July.. now I am waiting for this month which may be hard because the balance is paid off now.. but they have some very imcompetent people work there.. I had no problems for 3 years then all of a sudden this year when the young lady who handled my account left.. all kinds of stuff start happening.. payment arrangement was for the 17th each month but payment was coming out of my account before the date and then they agreed to not put it on my credit and wouldnt you know.. last payment in August 2012 and it showed on my credit August 2012..

Rent Recover LLC is a company that needs to be shut down and all of the employees need intensive mental health services. Being a verbally abusive drone for this company will only push your FTC complaints further up the ladder. Gary, Bianca, and the other Jekyll/Hyde reps should all pray real hard before picking up that phone everyday. To the rental companies that use this bottom feeding service--STOP!! I plan on recording ALL calls and you violated my rights by not sending me a written form of communication when I asked for it AND by using a tone that was abusive in nature.
Don't fall for their tricks or vile words people. MAKE them send you something in writing!

I also has issues with the company being rude, I was also trying to pay back and schedule some type of arrangements with the company. The lady on the line was lacked customer service skills and informed me that if I wanted to buy a home or an apartment while I was making payments they will act as if I am not paying anything to them so I will not be able obtain a residence. The lady also stated that they do this on purpose just in case I will not pay the rest of the money debted to them. My question is, is the really true? Is there some way I can get around this?

I just checked the BBB website ( http://www.bbb.org/denver/business-reviews/co... ) and it has RRS with an A rating. Anyone have any more recent encounters - good or bad - with this company? I'd love to hear responses from the landlord side as well.

They may have an A rating with the BBB, but if you look at the top of the page it states that RRS is not BBB Accredited.

In Ohio we take threats very seriously. I DON'T owe money. They contact me. A collection agency is professional. Most of them will try to explain and legitimize charges. Dave, don't EVER threaten me again. I have my ducks in a row, I suggest you do the same. I will gi e you my documents personally and no other way. PERIOD Threaten ANYONE, is against the law. When I visit GA in the near future I'll play your full phone call to the Atlanta Police while you're standing right beside me.

Don't mail money to a collection agency like this. These people with names like "Coolio", lol answer these questions for a job. These people are giving debt collectors(real ones) bad names. In the past, we understand that people have hardships and that circumstances are not always what they seem. Threatening, filthy language will get you the same. A legitimate agency will work with you, AND are very successful and getting returns. Repoing a vehicle is the same way. We are often taken as the bad guys. You didn't pay a bill and it is up to you to work the details out. BUT " Coolio" acting like an as.hole will get you in dire trouble. Again, legitimate agencies work and for the most part, are polite. NOW, Coolio, Brianiac...Dave, threatening me was a mistake, an we'll see who collects what......."Coolio"
