Can someone, anyone, tell the CRR marketing people that advertising the villas at rates that are way lower than a Motel 6 in the bad parts of Atlanta, does not benefit CRR?

If you are a resident, why not wander over to the Gen Store and tell them yourself.

Gee, if they're that cheap I'll start leaving notes on the rental cabins on my road and let them know. Tell your marketing people that I would be most glad to help them in anyway I possibly can. LOL!!!!!! God, save us all from renters.

So what are you guys doing for Xmas and New Years. I have absolutely huge plans. First, I'm going to take care of my husband (whom I've been seperated from for 5 years) after 1/4 of his lung is removed tomorrow. That takes me right up to Xmas Eve when our kids will come over and we will all have a merry old time listening to his surgery story for about the 20th time. Just one small reason we are seperated out of so very many, is he hates Xmas anyway and our co pay goes up in Jan. Now he could have had this surgery any time in the last year but chose to do it on the very holiday that the kids and my grandchild love the most. He's a real treasure. Oh, yes. On New Years Eve I plan on being back in my home in Gilmer after making a short stop at one of the liquor stores. Upon returning to the cabin, unpaking my car, I plan on pretty much drink myself into oblivion which takes 2 small drinks, 3 at the most (I don't drink much). Once my brain has numbed out the last 3 weeks I will slowly and carefully take myself upstairs to my big king sized bed and sleep for at least 3days. Waking only to feed,
water and let the dog out to do his business. NOW!!! Doesn't that sound like one Hell of a roudy time. Anyone got one better than mine. I think not!!!!!!!!

Who cares. Just what the hell does that have to do with Christmas 2013 and New Year's Eve 2014? You people in CRR are pathetic and your miserable reputation is well deserved. In the future, please don't use Christmas to make your silly political points.

Sorry you got lost.
I was commenting on CRR's advertisement to rent their villas for $65 during the Christmas 2013 and and New Year's 2014 holidays. It didn't think it was that difficult to follow.

Only if you buy really good whiskey. I don't drink beer and wine makes me throw up if I drink to much. What about a steak to go with the drinks. Keep in mind I think I could tell the difference in steak or road kill. Just warning you. This could get expensive!!!! LOL!!

Hubby's doing good. Looks like he'll be back here tomorrow. The kids did hospital duty while I stayed here to clean "a little" for him which ended up being the carpet, washing all blankets, dusting, including walls and baseboards, while fighting spiders like I had never seen before. Cleaning blinds, washing clothes and yes putting up a 8 1/2 foot Christmas tree (keep in mind I'm only about 5'3" or so). He said he would do it but do you think you could after lung surgery so I went on and put it up by myself so he wouldn't have the pleasure of watching it take me 4 hours to do it after all the other stuff I had done for him. One very nice thing that is going to happen for me, though, is my girls are insisting on doing all of the Christmas Eve dinner and desserts as part of my Christmas. I've never not had to cook at least something on Christmas. Just goes to show you. No matter how old you get, life can still surprise you.

To my friends there in Gilmer (yes, believe it or not I do have friends), my husband is doing great. Modern medicine is truly amazing today. Our family has been blessed many times over in the last few years with the knowledge that God has given the men and women of medicine. I know there were prayers for us from many of you and I wish to thank you all. Lose part of a lung, come home, sit and watch tv, eat almost like normal, doing breathing exercises, laugh and talk, now that is truly a miracle to me. Never believe that prayers don't work, they do. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to all that joined me in earnest prayer for his return to us. God willing he will continue to heal and I will return home in a few weeks. Thank you all for the prayers that I felt coming our way. God bless to each and everyone of you. From the bottom of my heart, I love you. God Bless and may you have a safe and Merrry Christmas.

I'm assuming you mean Crown Royal. Don't drink it all before I get back and save me the bag. Thanks for the laugh. I needed it today. Master of the house is not in a good mood. In fact he's being a crabby butt so I went out and did some yard work for him. I'll do some more the next time he crabs at me. God knows it needs it and I'm sure the neighbors will appreciate it. Don't forget - save me the bag.

Did you hit the crown pretty hard before you typed that?

Did you notice that, too. Oh My Goodness!! I think just maybe someone is already drinking the Crown they promised me. Oh Well!! Maybe Santa will bring me some. By the way, in a few weeks if you happen to be on the 515 and see an old lady hugging a tree right across the Gilmer county line headed north, it's me. I'll be so glad to get home. Of course with my luck and all the rain we've been having the dern thing will probably fall on me as I'm walking back to my car, but what the heck. I'll die happy!!!!
