Does anyone know where this pottery was in Cabbagetown or anything about it? I recently bought a handmade tile stamped Cabbagetown Pottery and would like to learn more about the place and its products. The design of the tile looks to be 1970's or 80's.

I believe Esther Lefevre, deceased former City Council member, had that operation at the corner of Boulevard.

I am trying to find out something about the pottery as well. I have a large box of tiles and would like to know the value. If you don't mind my asking, where did you purchase the tile and what was the price that you paid?

I had a home in Cabbagetown during the time Cabbagetown Pottery was in operation. Esther Lafever operated it.She used the shop as an outreach to try help the neighborhood kids as well as produce the tiles. I have several Christmas ornaments that were made there. All the clay she used was Ga. clay. The location was where the resturant in cabbagetown on Blvd. is now. The tile murals on the CSX walls were made at the shop by Esther.
