Young was interviewed to explain his comments. He admitted that he had made unkind remarks and apologized. He also resigned his spokesman position for WalMart whom he was defending when he made his racist comments. Young's racist comments go back decades. When accused of racist comments against whites back in the 1970s, his only response was that his grandfather was white so how could he hate whites. I heard the statement myself and he obviously dodged the accusation by not directly denying his original statements.
