So... I just lost my mind and watched this.. crap? He made the choice to be a product of his environment. He is a bad parent, as was the baby mama (R.I.P). I know that was the father, but he lived a the life of a suspect... Why would you want to leave your baby in the care of a man that snorts crack, sells drugs, KILLS PEOPLE, etc... But maybe it was good thing the baby wasn't with her at the time of her death.
I can't believe he told the baby that his mama was dead and proceeded to talk to the child as though he was a grown man.
This entire movie broke my heart... way to perpetuate the stereotypes
I hope this is fake
Why don't you try not being a product of your enviorment he was raised in the hood so he does hood sh*t ur probly middle class so your off that judgemental sh*t

If you have not lived the life they are living you can't talk about it. Its not an excuse but that life is all he ever known. And to say someone should be shot in head you are just as worst as they are. You are not here to judge no one. Only God can judge.

I applaud snow for this movie. Not for the actions it depicts but for the lives it sheds light to. Lives that are born in to the drug game and into areas where murder robbery and drugs are most prevalent. Areas that "people are afraid to go to" and "no one knos anything about" are shown in full view. Though parts of the movie are fake no actors were used and these ideas came from experience. I hope ppl take this movie for what it is. A way to see how ppl in the hood really live and their hardships their mistakes their triumphs their side of the story.

Another movie made by a bunch of democrats about how they get their lifestyle to acquire money to support obama. They will all end up dead by violence, on welfare, or blaming whites because they are uneducated and can't get a job, who cares?

Is this vocabulary you chose to use in your post typical of a high school graduate in Pennsylvania? Bless your little heart.

Applaud???? Don't get me wrong the movie was intense but it's this kind of exposure that keeps this going....it's not cool, but it's broadcasted to look cool. Now some kid, after seeing this is gonna want to be like this, find the wrong people and do the wrong shit, and wind out dead over a movie......and people get mad when the FCC regulates music, they should be regulating television for everyone, not just kids, and hardships, all this showed was a bunch of people willing to stay in the situation they had no choice to be in, what about perseverance, why couldn't it end in him changing and raising his kid right. The world is cruel enough we don't need anyone making it any crueler and this didn't help....but I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie.

The movie, while possibly based on real events, was obviously acted out. It entertaining at points, and is a nice attempt at showcasing inner city life.

There are a few points that need to be made about the message in the film. First, Snow believes a life of crime is his only choice, as his family before him made the same choices. I fear too many impressionable youths will believe such a lie. The sad truth is that Snow could have easily left the bluff and led an honest life elsewhere. And its not as if there weren't constant reminders throughout his life that things would go south at some point. But he painted himself into a corner with hustling, robbing, drug use and fathering children like its a sport. Things simply don't have to be this way for people, everyone has options.

Secondly, this film really shows how gutless these so called gangsters are. Sure, it takes some balls to shoot at people and rob other hood rats. But it takes actual character to be a man and get up every morning to go to work when youre still sore from the day before. It takes heart to put food on the table for your children even if it means you cant go out that weekend. And it takes a real man to raise his children to be better than he is. Snow did an excellent job showing the world that he's just another moron that's all too eager to blame the world rather than sack up and be a man.

Great movie! For the people that don't know this shit goes on and this is a reality are just ignorant and dumb. Don't act dumb and talk shit about it. because your not living it. He's showing you what it's like to be born an raised in a hood like this with not many options but to hustle and get it how you live.
