Hello everyone,
When you have a problem , you fix it. I have never known the people of ringgold not to have the answer.
I was born in this town, raised with pride and dignity. I grew up learning of my history from those
I knew personally and sometimes from those I did not know.I was hurt so deeply when I heard of the destruction left by the storm.I can only imagine the pain of everyone who is affected by this freak of nature. Ringgold and it's citizens are among the greatest people I have ever known. I know the love and respect the have for their town and their country. I loved my town even though I do not live there anymore. I have cried many times over this tragedy. I can see where most would like to see a new ringgold and those who want to keep it the same. I say this' Why NOT HAVE BOTH. Make a part of it historical and part of it modern up to date.
Change is good , and so are the memories. I have a vision of what would be good and refreshing to most. Keeping all satisfied. Bring life back, keeping the heart intact. Give the kids more places to go and have fun, better schools, and more places to shop for all the moms and dads. Build a mall, movie theaters, some good places to eat, a museum would be nice. When I was young singing to my records at home was all there was to do to have fun for me. I did always dream of how it would be to have places to go and do fun things and hangout with other kids. We did not have that then. I would have like a waterpark, bowling alley, theater, and a museum , even a giant Library would have been nice. Vote with your neighborhs keep our youth in mind cause they are your future, and never forget those who came before us.Why should we always have to go to the big towns just to get what we need.Let them come to Ringgold for a change.
