Anyone remember the Aquarium that was to be built downtown as a tourist draw some years ago?

Another sure-fire money-maker according to the 'annointed' in charge of the finances.

Seems that when the citizenry found out they would be footing the bond-issue on an aquarium nobody would come to see, in the tourist mecca of Knoxville, then the puffed-up scheme lost its shine and support.

I could name a few more cockamamey ideas to come out of the Knox County 'anointed' over the last 40 years, but it makes me nauseous.

God bless us all - no exceptions !!
