Sounds like a GREAT idea to me!
I am glad this story was in the paper. We have to repeatedly remind my elderly mother-in-law that there are many scumbags out there now. Someone came to her door just this week claiming to be from Unitil. He said he "had to get into her basement to read the meter". She let him in because he was carrying a tool box. Sigh.... WAY TOO TRUSTING!
DO NOT LET ANYONE IN just because they claim to be from Unitil, the water department, etc. Both Unitil and the Fitchburg water department have charged us plenty to install meters that can be read from the street. No one needs to come into your home.

Gee he denies it too............wow that is surprising. He should not have been let out on bail. Anyone who would hurt a child or elderly person who cannot defend themselves is scum and just wait til he has to serve his time. His roomates dont like people who hurt children/elderly either.

Is the same Danny Dustin from Shirley area? If so, you are right, he is a scum bag and always has been. The age is about right. He has never held a job and I would believe that he would do something like this. I know the woman he robbed and she is a sweet trusting woman. Tell all your elderly parents, grandparents and friends not to open their doors for anyone. Call the cops, let them come and decide if the person is legitimate. It is really sad that our seniors who made this world a good place for us cant enjoy their final years in safety.

So how many want to take bets that he doesn't show when he's due back in court?

I'd like to taks his unitel hat with union stickers and shove it in a place on his person that could only be removed by a skilled surgeon.

Piece of crap.

you have got to be sh*tting me! the judge let this guy go withouth bail!! assault and battery, elderly abuse, kidnapping, robbery, breaking and entering, and has a record. what the hell does the judge need to place the guy in jail until his court date? Damn it. this judge should have to answer to a higher authority, or the DA did not do their job, or the guy got Johnny Cochran for a lawyer. I know this woman personally and the family.

This guy placed duct tape on the mouth, eyes and hands of an elderly (over 60) woman who answered the door and then ransacked her house!
The victim and a prior victim both identified this creep and this Judge let him out on bail. What is wrong with this picture. There should have been NO BAIL on this VIOLENT act. This elderly women will spend the rest of her life freaking out everytime someone knocks on her door and they let him just walk. This Judge should be removed from the bench and sent to Bridgewater State for evaluation. If this was my Mother or Grandmother I would be standing outside of his courtroom until this creep is put away.

no problem. my father will offer him an offer he can't refuse. The judge will find a dead fish in his mailbox and his wifes decapatated head in his bed one morning. the police have my blessings for the outstanding work the did to get this shmuck. I talked to my brothers about this douch bag. Sonny bit his hand and took off in his car like a maniac to find him. Vito cried and Micheal
has a secret meeting with him at a little Italian place close by.

Don't I wish this could really happen

The corruption in the courtroom should be investigated
