for it to make a bit of difference in the price at the store, he must have cut 100 folks with some hefty salaries !!

i don't know about that.
the price of a good six pack ain't cheap.
and when you figure out the price per gallon....!!!!

i like a good sixer of shiner bock every once in awhile.
but it pretty much kills a $10 bill !!
leaving you with just enough change for a cheap bag of pretzels.

well, you can always pour a beer over your cheerios in the morning.
but a glass of milk at the end of a long hot workday just won't cut it !!

I don't care how much it costs; if I drink milk it WILL be Mayfield. Scottie should keep those folks working. The cheapskates in society can drink that purity swill. Make mine Mayfield every time.

Good catch.

For every $10,000 in salary the laid off workers earn, on average, the amount of money saved per gallon of milk is $.0145, or 1.45 cents.

Therefore, if the average laid off employee earned $25,000/year, the savings per gallon would be $.03625, or 3.63 cents per gallon.

Yep, just a way of making higher profits, NOT lowering prices....BTW... who is the "he" referred to as cutting jobs? Scotty Mayfield has had no control since he sold out to dean Foods in 1990, it was them that decided the cuts.
