Athens Commissioners love Robin Hood

Robin Hood was the mythical character in Sherwood Forest who used force to steal from the rich to aid the pool. This is exactly what our elected government in Athens Georgia did again tonight
at its business meeting December 3, 2013.
The general typical rider of the Athens Bus pays only about 14% of the total cost now or about $800,000 a year of the total cost of
$5.7 million to operate this inefficient and wasteful service to a few in Athens Clarke County, which however is not provided to all citizens here in violation of the Georgia Constitution.
The ten commissioners only had the stomach to raise fares a dismal
11% to roughly a trivial 15% of the total costs, while still shafting the property owners with about 32% and the taxpayers throughout the country with the other 32%. UGA will likely cancel their portion of about 23% soon thereby shifting that also to the local taxpayers as well since their students and employees could more easily be transported on their own buses instead of those of the City of Athens.
What is so terrible about charging those who use this unfair inefficient wasteful and unsafe bus service an amount of money required to operate it, instead of only about a tiny 15% of those costs?
Evidently the ten commissioners of Athens care more about a tiny minority who ride public buses and who likely do not even vote anyway, than the thousands of property owners here who are forced to pay the $1.8 million local subsidy, but who mostly do not ride these buses at all. Many of them do not even have any service where they live even though they are forced to pay for this. All this is illegal and shameful.
Shame, shame shame on the ten commissioners of Athens and Mayor who voted to continue to fleece the property owners of Athens to pay for this public moneywaste in Athens, Georgia.
The only reason you get away with operating this illegal unfair bus service is because the State of Georgia allows you to violate the Georgia Constitution with impunity.
The criminal thief outlaw Robin Hood is alive and well in Athens Clarke County, the outlaw county in Georgia which steals from the rich to provide for the poor with the full military force of government in patent violation of the law itself.
The local so called newspaper also aids and abetts all this by its dismal failure to provide clear details of the true costs of this public unfair moneywaste in Athens Clarke County, Georgia.

In the first sentence above the word pool should be poor.
Why should all the taxpayers of the United States, who never ride this public moneywaste anyway, save for a tiny few here who do, be forced to pay for a large part of its costs? Our federal government is broke anyway so what money is used for this waste is borrowed or printed anyway.
Representative Broun and the two Senators and other federal officials should end the federal subsidy if they are serious about fiscal responsibility of the federal government.
