"Behind the Hedges: Big Money and Power Politics at the University of Georgia"
Rich Whitt (Author), New South Books, 2009

Read the above book to understand the corrupt racket operated at UGA under the good old boy Adams, a crony of the power elite in Georgia who misused and abused the power of Georgia Lawyers to steal money from a top Professor of Veterinary Medicine who made the only significant discovery at U
Ga for over 100 years, inventing a billion dollar drug to cure dry eye in animals and humans. Adams and his thugs treated her like garbage. He should have been fired while she appointed to do the job of firing this worthless loser.
Gutless coward Adams allowed the American Cancer Society to fleece innocent cancer victims out of their money using public facilities but did nothing about it.
Adams and his dupes on the secret UGA Real Estate Foundation committee borrowed and wasted millions of dollars for dangerous high rise fancy apartments for spoiled brats at UGA, while destroying neighborhoods of Athens and rendering them slums. Many other examples of plunder by Adams could be illustrated. All Adams brought to Georgia is SHAME. And to add insult to injury, they paid him off with over $2 million at the end, wasting more public money on this worthless cheater. And the powers that be are even so stupid as to provide him office space to write distorted history of his ego trips destroying what little there is of higher education in Georgia.
The only legacy Adams leaves at UGA is one of cowardice and plunder of public resources. He is a coward and a destroyer and a high paid one at that. All Adams brought to Athens was an example of cowardice fostered at the narrow bible school he came from in Tennessee. Unfortunately the powers that be in Georgia were so intent on protecting the failed good old boy system they protected him for 16 years. The taxpayers of Georgia lose again from their totally corrupt inbred government.
You wonít read any of the truth about Adams in the worthless garbage local newspaper.
Georgia is a beautiful State, but is corrupt inbred government is ugly every day of the year.
Ever generation gets worse.
