Georgia Law: Hospitals can keep secrets hidden from public.

Horrible mistakes are made in Georgia hospitals every day. Citizens must be informed of these mistakes so they can avoid the hospitals and the doctors and nurses who made such mistakes, like operating on the wrong limb, or giving the wrong drug or possibly even killing a patient.
But in the backward state of Georgia our lawmakers allow these negligent hospitals to keep this information secret.
Here is an excellent recent article in the AJC by Alan Judd on this subject:
Observe that this article was not referenced by the local negligent editors of the ABH or any of the local radio stations in Athens while they promote advertisements about local hospitals.
The prejudiced editors of the ABH only give lip service to openness in government, but protect local negligent hospitals from any exposure to the light of day and the light of truth.
When you need a hospital, vote with your feet and your pocketbook:
Go to a hospital outside of the backward, secret state of Georgia. Most insurance will also pay for better out of state hospital and medical care.
Let us all thank the local lawmakers for total failure to protect the citizens and taxpayers from negligent doctors and hospitals in Georgia.
