Don your complaint with Doug is that he doesn't reside in Madison County by the looks of your comment you are from Eastanollee. Regardless of where you end up saying I'm from I have lived in Madison County all my life. Clayton Lowe has worked hard for Madison County and I'm not a relative nor am I a shady person. I say he needs to stay and maybe you need to go. I believe everyone is allowed there own opinion but some are better off kept to yourself.

kristie your complaint was that don lives in eastanolle.it appears that you live in commerce which is not madison.i know you probally do and the commerce thing is just the closest city.you may not be a shady person but everyone has there right to speak.you are out of line by saying someone should keep there opinion to themselves.i have no problem with clayton.i've voted for him everytime.this time i will not as i will not vote for any who are in office up there now.the last 4 years have been a disater.i say lets give someone else a chance to screw it up.

I think we all need to realize, politics is politics. We need to focus on supporting everyone running for office. This is public service for the good of everyone in our county. Some don't like Sheriff Lowe for some reason or the other. Some may not like the others as well. But to leave a post about someone being a crook, come on, we are all better than this. People are tired of the mudd slinging. If you want to lose my vote, say something negative about someone else. To some Clayton has done a good job, others may not think so, just be polite. These guys have families and feelings. I think Madison County is ready for change across the board. I think this year all incumbents are going to lose.

John Dove, Right Man for Madison County Several are planned to qualify for the Sheriff's race in Madison County in upcoming weeks. But the best man for the job and the community is John Dove. I have known John and his family for over 16 Years, as well as worked along beside him. I can tell you that I had rather have no other to stand beside when things get tough. Not one time did I ever feel he would cower, nor hide from any challenge that would arise. Madison County needs a firm, strong, dependable man to fill its Sheriffs Office. A man that has been tested in all forms of law enforcement. John possesses those qualities. From Jails, to the everyday life on the streets. John has seen, and had to deal with it. As July grows closer, I ask Madison County to seek out and ask questions of John, He has listed his email, as well as his home phone in print.

I think you need to take a close look at Troy Asmus. I have served with him over in th emiddle East and could not have asked for a better police chief. He is a retired navy chief that has not only been the chief of police for the whole Navy base but has also served as chief of k-9, anti-terrorism, force protection, certified law enforcment officer for ga, certified jailer. He knows how to do budgets and has good leadership skills. He is a true leader and I would be proud to be able to work for him.

Please lets have a new sheriff and get the corruption out of Madison Co. If you only knew some of the stories about this sheriff and they are not rumors would think twice about reelecting him.

i think what does matter is that tony used taxpayer money to play on here today.this is what hurts the sheriff.

i dont see three comments stealing from the tax payers. especially since it probably took all of maybe five minutes? he was just trying to defend his office and position just as if john dove, kip thomas or troy asmus would do if they were sheriff.
