Come on, now Syn - you know it's not nice to ask them to "think", they just go look in their handy dandy little "Handbook for Lobotomized Liberals" to look up the appropriate answer:
It will usually involve some combination of "nothing to see here", "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" , "excuse me, I have to stick my head back in the ground", "nananana, I can't hear you" or some equally persuasive "genuine Liberal gibberish" [with apologies to Blazing Saddles]
Exactly, the dims are pretending to have ignored it now for the second time.

Luckily, it's just not going to happen. There are enough thinking people in this country to see the whole thing for what it is:

It's almost like trying to explain something about life to a child (no, I'm not being insulting here), they just aren't old enough and haven't experienced enough to know what's going on. So many people don't understand how business works, they just want their security and want to blame "the man". They don't understand the big picture.
Ever notice how people at lower levels of a company like to bitch about those further up the "food chain" (bosses and management) and how those people don't know what the heck is going on and how to run the company? Sometimes, they're correct, the vast majority of the time, they're clueless and uneducated on how to run things...
Still feeling a little persecuted by the fact that your employees hated you?

You're "retired" now - let it go. If you don't, you might run the risk of turning into a grumpy old bitter man who shakes his fist at the world for "not understanding taxes".

Don't be that guy.

You just don't care WHAT you post!

Don't make me dredge up that post where you were so far in a corner that you actually said Bush handed over a spotless economy and a perfect employment and deficit situation to Obama.

Don't make me dredge up that conversation where you ran like a scared puppy when I challenged you to an "adult conversation".

Yet you run around here like it never happened - I guess your Alzheimer's keeps you happy.

"foolish" is seeing nothing wrong with the IRS being used as a political weapon, but oh how you would be screaming if Bush were in office and this were happening to any organization with "progressive" or "move on" in the name.

and now we have the Justice Dept apparently going after the AP - but, hey I'm sure it's nothing, right.
But again, if it were the Bush Justice Dept - oh, then it would be the end of democracy as we know it, but since it's Obama - the Left just says "yawn"

Quite frankly, you can take off from Washington, DC on a commercial flight and practically be in Benghazi by the end of seven hours.

..........
One interesting thing about the voters who think Benghazi is the biggest political scandal in American history is that 39% of them don't actually know where it is.
And clearly they just have no education or knowledge of history at all.

These are the backwoods republicans that wave their flags, talk rascist crap, never read a book, and when they pull a voting lever they hope to see Triple Cherries.

In having way too much fun doing it this way.
Let's practice.
- Right Wing Wacko writes an insipidly stupid and moronic post, full of ignorance and floating in hypocrisy.
- The moronic post is crushed by facts and rational analysis demonstrating the hypocritical freeloading Right Wing Wacko's lunacy.
- That same or another Right Wing Wacko repeats the same illogical and vapid points.
- That valid post is demolished, again, simply by pointing out the facts and history of Wacko ineptitude and greed.
Repeat the above.
I only wish it was even slightly challenging to eviscerate Right Wing Wacko posts.
But then I couldn't do it while watching my kids play soccer and reading the NY Times on the iPhone - it might actually require concentration.
Just read your silly post. Do you ACTUALLY think you have any intellectual credibility when you post stuff such as this? Really? It's just the same old meaningless and faux ramblings from a LLSC. Nothing.

I honestly think that in the not so distant future as demographics change and old mores are given the just reward of antiquity as such inevitably do, that the really hard core fundamentalist folks, like who are encountered here, will fade away to a new dawn. Their ideas will be a distant memory. They are becoming more and more marginalized and that is evidenced in the harsh reaction seen from them towards the modern world that they just cant stop. There is no one to pass on their legacy. The younger generations just wizz right by with hardly a second thought to the tired worn out excuses that they cling to to suppress anything that doesn't fit their entrenched ideas of how things should be. Religious fundamentalism is pretty much ignored by the young. Go to any metropolitan area and gays are hardly even noticed anymore. Just one vivid example that the old guard is dying. The world is getting smaller and folks just don't abide the ridiculous intolerance that is displayed in these back woods enclaves. Give them their last hoorah, for they won't be with us long. It's kind of sad in a way to see such devout zealotry struggle so so hard to remain meaningful.

Hey Tea Party Aggie:

I'm talking about Inquisitor Issa and Benghazi.

You're talking about the lazy shmo in the basement of the Cleveland IRS office who took a short-cut and guards his stapler very carefully.

See - the dots don't connect. Logic -->>> none.

Aggie - will you please tell us more about Democrats Against Agenda 21? That was such a good story.

Not surprised. All he does is campaign. He doesn't have time to LEAD. He DOES love hanging out with the celebrities. It's interesting how they support a "so called" president who wants to tax tax tax the rich. They have protected their money. Otherwise, they wouldn't necessarily be in his corner. I'm sure it's interesting indeed how creative the Hollyweird people have gotten in order to protect their riches. Wonder what Obama told them in order to get their support? Yeah, he is taking care of the MIDDLE CLASS. What a joke.

I'll agree that unions are a problem. I don't like them at all. Perhaps at one point there was a need for unions, but I don't think they do anything these days but put an undue burden on businesses.
However, I do NOT agree with you statement "a public corporation is responsible to it's shareholders, NOT it's employees, the country, or government."
I just believe that is irresponsible. And yes, I do own stock. And I don't want to own stock in companies that are irresponsible to their workers and country, no matter what the return on investment. Period.
I've seen firsthand how the previous corporation I worked for has literally cut of its own throat to make their stock market value stay high. Now they have gutted the company so badly that they can barely operate effectively, let alone stay competitive. Stock holders need to be responsible too. And sometimes that means accepting a lower return for a while in order to ensure future health. Unfortunately, most boards of directors of corporations, and CEOs as well, only see the immediate return - and will get a golden parachute when they bail from the bleeding and nearly dead company anyways.
It comes down to ethics, my friend. That is something "you have a bit to learn and/or understand" to use your own words.
"However, I do NOT agree with you statement "a public corporation is responsible to it's shareholders, NOT it's employees, the country, or government."

OK, but I hope you realize it doesn't matter whether you agree or not. It's a fact.

"I don't want to own stock in companies that are irresponsible to their workers and country, no matter what the return on investment. Period."

No one is forcing you to, are they?

"It comes down to ethics, my friend. That is something "you have a bit to learn and/or understand" to use your own words."

Actually, it's ethics AND integrity. Perhaps that's why I resigned from a position as CFO of a public company.
