This is an editorial piece, but it shows what other states are dealing with, as well. The costs aren't higher JUST for the states that "want the healthcare bill gone".
I'm curious. You defend the MAJORITY of Americans who want the law "fixed". What do you have to say about the MAJORITY of Americans who didn't want the law to begin with and STILL don't want it? Did you support them? Do you support them NOW?(Let's see how sincere you are in regard to the MAJORITY of Americans.)

You can't have it both ways, The majority want it fixes, the majority doesn't want it. Things change people see the light and opinions change to meet the facts presented. Today, the majority want it fixes, at one time for a short period of time when the web site was a mess, a majority didn't want it. For a short period of time you were in the majority, not anymore.

I want to clarify something in my post #40688. I don't support nationalized healthcare AT ALL. Apparently, we have it and unless a miracle happens, we will continue to have it. I don't understand why EVERYONE had to be drug through this just to insure those who didn't/don't have insurance. Why couldn't something have been worked out for THEM? Instead, we were BOLDLY lied to(as usual) and ALL of us stuck with this dog of a law.

The intent was NOT to really help those in need,,,,,,,,,,but rather to drag everyone into the same pot, so misery could be shared by all..........after all libroids lead a miserable life and are only happy when everyone is as miserable as they are..........

If, as you say, the majority wants it fixed..........you have failed articulate what the majority wants fixed..........such as, is it the website itself????? is it the cost of healthcare??? is it the low choices in insurance offered??? is it the loss of providers who have decided not to accept insurance coverage from the exchanges???

Now to the news of corrupt libroids..........

"Sen. Harry Reid Behind BLM Land Grab of Bundy Ranch"

"“[Reid] and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert,” he wrote.“Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada.”

“His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”

Although these reports are in plain view, the mainstream media has so far ignored this link.

The BLM’s official reason for encircling the Bundy family with sniper teams and helicopters was to protect the endangered desert tortoise, which the agency has previously been killing in mass due to “budget constraints.”

“A tortoise isn’t the reason why BLM is harassing a 67 year-old rancher; they want his land,” journalist Dana Loesch wrote.“The tortoise wasn’t of concern when [U.S. Senator] Harry Reid worked with BLM to literally change the boundaries of the tortoise’s habitat to accommodate the development of his top donor, Harvey Whittemore.”

“Reid is accused of using the new BLM chief as a puppet to control Nevada land (already over 84% of which is owned by the federal government) and pay back special interests,” she added.“BLM has proven that they’ve a situational concern for the desert tortoise as they’ve had no problem waiving their rules concerning wind or solar power development. Clearly these developments have vastly affected a tortoise habitat more than a century-old, quasi-homesteading grazing area.”"

"Those who say Bundy is a “deadbeat” are making inaccurate claims. Bundy has in fact paid fees to Clark County, Nevada in an arrangement pre-dating the BLM. The BLM arrived much later, changed the details of the setup without consulting with Bundy — or any other rancher — and then began systematically driving out cattle and ranchers. Bundy refused to pay BLM, especially after they demanded he reduce his heard’s head count down to a level that would not sustain his ranch. Bundy OWNS the water and forage rights to this land. He paid for these rights. He built fences, established water ways, and constructed roads with his own money, with the approval of Nevada and BLM. When BLM started using his fees to run him off the land and harassing him, he ceased paying. So should BLM reimburse him for managing the land and for the confiscation of his water and forage rights?

Cliven Bundy’s problem isn’t that he didn’t pay — he did — or that his cattle bother tortoises — they don’t — it’s that he’s not a Reid donor."

Republicans are fast to tell us that Reagan was the best they had. They have Republican politicians that run on Reagan's credentials. Yet they also are faster to tell us that Bush ain't president, forget about Bush and Bush ain't running. Perhaps Reagan was their best. That's if you believe the history that they rewrote for him to make him look good. But the fact is that more of the Reagan administration people faced criminal charges or were convicted than any other. The difference with Bush is that he and his people got away with the stuff they did.

28. Created the blackhole at Gitmo and renditions. The Bush White House created the offshore military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, as well as secret detention sites in eastern Europe to evade domestic and military justice systems. Many of the men still jailed in Cuba were turned over to the U.S. military by bounty hunters.

29. Bush violated U.S. Constitution as well. The Bush White House ignored basic civil liberties, most notably by launching a massive domestic spying program where millions of Americans’ online activities were monitored with the help of big telecom companies. The government had no search warrant or court authority for its electronic dragnet.

30. Iraq war created federal debt crisis. The total costs of the Iraq and Afghan wars will reach between $4 trillion and $6 trillion, when the long-term medical costs are added in for wounded veterans, a March 2013 report by a Harvard researcher has estimated. Earlier reports said the wars cost $2 billion a week.

1. The website has been fixed, period.

2. The cost of healthcare will never be fixed, unless we all agree to a maximum length of life, I'm willing, are you??. Its the length of life and the amount of money it costs to get that extra year, quality of life doesn't really matter. Don't believe that, go to a low cost nursing home, heck any nursing home.

3. The choices are fine, insurance that doesn't cover adequately is no more. The rouge states with the high rates need to be put in place, like Georgia.

4. The people polled who don't know the difference between ObamaCare and the Affordable Care act are people who only watch and listen to conservative talk. They only call it ObamaCare because it contains the evil ones name, that helps ratings and makes folks like you smile, you people do love to hate.

5. The only providers who will not take insurance are the ones normal people don't see anyway. The ones who did not discount before the affordable care act was implemented. The ones that are why people say we have the best health care in the world. We do and always will have that for the rich. The rest of us are way down the list of other developed countries, another fact you ignore. The ones the really rich use have never discounted, the ones who have no use for people with income less than 1 million a year. My wife had a tumor removed from her neck years ago, she would not consider letting anyone other than this well know cutter do the work. He would take insurance, but not what the insurance company said was a fair price, you paid the difference between the fair cost and his.
A procedure that the insurance company claimed was worth 30 total grand cost 50. And this was a low level cutter, nothing like the cutters to the really rich. Your statement about providers is a myth, a lie and load of bull.

To get the Affordable Care Act fixed to satisfy you, we first need to fix you. If you could get a JOB or at least volunteer to help someone, somewhere and get off the web, the radio and FNC. Maybe then you could get back a little of the sanity you had as a child. You have obviously had a partial lobotomy, what you require is a total lobotomy. In your case your insurance should pay, its not an elective procedure in your case.

What a dummy…..
1 “The website has been fixed, period.”
Wrong dummy………… Medicaid section still not working…………cant handle appeals of enrollment errors……..cant verify if payments have been made……..cannot communicate with insurance companies to verify insurance is valid….etc….etc…

2 “unless we all agree to a maximum length of life, I'm willing, are you??”

This statement does not surprise me as you also are in agreement with killing babies; being in favor of euthanasia and Obamas death panels are in line with libroids socialist/nazi dreams in America…….I would bet my $50 Confederate paper note this poster has a “healthcare power of attorney" to keep his sorry azz alive under all circumstances…………..that $50 note is worth $5k by the way….

BTW, I’m willing to live to 100……but only if I can be assured you life will end within the next 2 days…………

3 “The choices are fine”
Again, just another stupid and ignorant remark as Over Half of U.S. Sates Has Two or Fewer Carriers…….a number has only one choice of insurance carrier, onbe of which is Alabama.

#4 is a normal response from the king of dummies…….

#5 is this poster talking from his rear end………….knows nothing about insurance, how rates are established, how insurances companies decide whether or not to provide coverage in certain States, nor how doctors decide whether or not to accept insurance.
And there is so much other disconnected bullcrap in this post, it’s not worth replying too.
