I guess my point could be easily made this way. If you are a parent, and witness your child and another person's child about to go to blows on the playground over whose turn it is on the slide, do you make an attempt to reach a compromise, in which everyone is satisfied and complacent? Or do you encourage them to argue for days, weeks, months, and years about whose turn it actually was in the first place. Little kids are supposed to argue and fight, not grown adults. Well, unless this is the legacy we want to leave for our kids. Depends on the person I guess.

BTW, I pointedly addressed EXACLY what you stated in your post about BW. lol See. Ya got nothin'.
Using the word "EXACLY" doesn't exactly make it so, when you absolutely did not address those indisputable truths. You just didn't.

<quoted text>Every heard of checks and balances? Or perhaps you've heard of equal protection?
The health care law has been altered from it's original form without consent of the congress.
The founders thought the messiness of our checks and balances system better than the tyranny of a single branch making rules for some and not for all.
If the healthcare law applies to one, it applies equally to all. Have a pleasant day.
Checks and balances? Like changing parliamentary procedure in the middle of the night so that you can hold the country hostage with the Koch Brothers zealot terrorists in the Republican party? Yep - that's checks and balances all right.

If we are able to avert this disaster, then I think some steps should be taken in the form of legislation to insure that this type of nonsense does not become a recurring theme. We, as a country need to somehow be protected from fringe elements or a fifth column from within that is bent on chaos and destruction if not allowed to have their way.

I appreciate that. As of now, I am one who did not get paid last month, and am "technically furloughed". I have been on many forums over the last 24 years, since the advent of the internet, and social networking, and have made friends worldwide. As I stated, I don't have any problems with people disagreeing with each other on anything at all, and I encourage anyone to speak their mind ( if we didn't, we would be less than Human, right?), but my only problem with the whole label thing as far as this person is stupid because they believe this, and this person is stupid because they believe that, is just ludicrous. If you look at the country as a whole right now, it is the division into classes that has destroyed us. Cows are dying, farmers are suffering, kids are going without early educations, etc. And for what? Because we have to divide ourselves into individual groups of beliefs to get our way? I am in NO WAY self-righteous, nor do I profess to be above one or the other of anybody. I just simply believe that a system of fairness for ALL of our countrymen should be practiced, rather than the system now of "we have the power over you to enforce our rules, and you will obey, lest you be admonished as a voice of anything". Thank you for your time and attention. Carry on.
Thank you for your thought out response. Just curious. What are your thoughts on socialism?

If you are so concerned about treating the people indecently, perhaps you should look at your hero, Obama, first. GIVE ME A BREAK!
Have YOU signed up for Obamacare?

I guess you haven't noticed. For the past MANY years, the minority has ruled. This is what happens when the minority rules.

Minority rules? Where have you been living? Obama won twice by free elections....the way we doo in a democracy. What is not democracy is when some one wins and the minority lies, distorts facts, makes a pact to make the elected President fail at all cost and tries to derail affordable health care for the majority by not funding a law that is legally the "law of the land" and was proven to be "constitutional" by the Supreme Court, he highest Court in the land and that was Majority Republicans. Now the Republican party has flown their "kami-kazi" mission and failed they are soon doomed as being the "party of cry babies" and the "party of NO" and also the party that "used to be".

Also, Obama has not been not willing to talk but is not willing to put the legal law he got through the Senate, Congress and the Supreme Court up for negotations. It is the law and will be funded sooner or later. Nothing Congress can doo about it. The only way to get it killed is to go through the election process and win and then get the law changed. To hold the whole Country hostage and doo what they have done should be illegal and they all should be lined up and made to eat crap in front of the whole Nation. Shameful bunch of losers! They are trying to protect their wealthy donors. When a few wealthy families own 95% of the wealth of a Country then you have Russia. These Tea Party Poops are like the KGB was to their wealthy donors. Same thing!

Truth is he said he would not negotiate the new "Affordable Health Care Law" which was already passed by the Senate, House, President and found Constitutional by the US Supreme Court. Funding it is a must thing to doo and they will. Wait and see. It is the law of the land and can only be changed through the election process. Problem for the Republicans is they and now spilt into two parties and are severely damaged goods. Can't get elected and can't change the laws if not elected because people won't vote them in. So may as well give it up and let America win.

We weren't talking about the election, but ok. It sounds as if you have signed up for Obamacare. Will you please share with the rest of us your experience? You will really be helping us out.
Interesting that you are so excited about having a one party system. Shows how ignorant and government dependent you are.

So, tell us about your Obamacare sign-up experience. You are so excited about it. Certainly you MUST have experience with it to be so excited. Tell us, please.

If it weren't for der dictator, you wouldn't be going through this, but you are too ignorant to know that.

So, tell us all about Obamacare and how happy it has made you. Certainly you've had personal experience with it to be so supportive. Tell us. When did you sign up? I know you won't have the courage to answer because you have no idea what you are supporting. Uh-oh. Time for you to change your ID, don't 'cha think?

It IS indisputable that the rules were changed the night before the crisis began, by the Republicans. That is indisputable. It happened.

It IS indisputable that Koch Industries sent a letter out to Republican congressmen saying that "many you have contacted us to inquire about our position". That is indisputable. It happened.

It IS indisputable that a House vote was called off immediately after Heritage Action said it wasn't conservative enough. That is indisputable. It happened.

It IS indisputable that Heritage Action is funded to the tune of 100's of MILLIONS of dollars largely by "Freedom Partners".

It IS indisputable that Freedom Partners board consists of 100% members affiliated with Koch Industries.

These are facts. We can even call them "REAL FACTS" if that helps.

These things aren't "indisputable" because I say so, they're indisputable because they are in fact , well.. FACTS!! TRUTHS! THINGS THAT ARE NOT FALSE! VERIFIABLE AND HAPPENED IN THE REAL WORLD!

Get it ?

BTW, he signed that bill into law without the funding in place. His stating that he wouldn't negotiate is just more of his textbook narcissism. His words, "I shouldn't HAVE to give anything." Wow.

Just curious. If the situation was reversed, woul you be 100% supportive of how this country has been "lead" for the past five years? In other words, if Obama were a conservative. I know the answer. I'm just waiting to see how honest you are.
