You write more of the same old overly used propaganda that is now outdated and wore out.
Fact is the Earth hasn't warmed in 15 years.
Can you control the sun?
Can you control volcanoes?
Can you control the ocean currents that travel around the world which create our weather?
Can you control an asteroid that may hit the Earth?
You actually think man is more powerful than Mother Nature?
This whole climate change theory has been tried before in the 1970's and failed. Give it up. Your beating a dead horse. Most people with common sense have figured out that it is a money making fraud.
I still have that bridge in Brooklyn for sale and will let you have it at a really good deal.
Yep,
thanks for that ideology input,
I'll still put my money on the really smart sciencey guys.

You make some excellent points. Great post. However, if you recall, the self=proclaimed father of Global Warming, Nobel Prize winner, Oscar winner and quite possibly, a bigger fraud than Bernie Madoff, the one, the only Al Gore said "The debate is over"

So, now, anyone who asked a question or presents facts that may be contrary to liberal thinking on the matter, well... we are just "Deniers" and "Anti-Science". Is there Climate change? Yes, there is. The climate has changed since the Earth was born and there will always be climate change. How much does man's creation of greenhouse gasses contribute? No one really knows. The left in this country want to spend billions if not trillions of dollars in hopes of combating global warming er uh, I mean climate change which encompasses all unusual weather. All one has to do is follow the money. Why, Big Al himself has made millions from his noble cause and will make even more as legislation is passed. If all of us were made to buy carbon credits from Al's company, we could all feel warm and fuzzy just like Al really wants us to.

No, it hasn't been cooling since 1998. Even if we ignore long term trends and just look at the record-breakers, that wasn't the hottest year ever. Different reports show that, overall, 2005 was hotter than 1998. What's more, globally, the hottest 12-month period ever recorded was from June 2009 to May 2010.

Though humans love record-breakers, they don't, on their own, tell us a much about trends -- and it's trends that matter when monitoring Climate Change. Trends only appear by looking at all the data, globally, and taking into account other variables -- like the effects of the El Nino ocean current or sunspot activity -- not by cherry-picking single points.

There's also a tendency for some people just to concentrate on air temperatures when there are other, more useful, indicators that can perhaps give us a better idea how rapidly the world is warming. Oceans for instance -- due to their immense size and heat storing capability (called 'thermal mass')-- tend to give a much more 'steady' indication of the warming that is happening. Here records show that the Earth has been warming at a steady rate before and since 1998 and there's no signs of it slowing any time soon.

There is nothing wrong with saying NO with the correct motivation and under the right circumstances.
This country and it's people are becoming a less free, less prosperous, weaker and a socialistic country because not enough people have said NO.
It is always easier just to say yes then to stand up for what is right and best for the people of this country.

Being discredited by the likes of you is a compliment to me, thank you.

I am a Libertarian, A Locke adherent and a Montesquieu adherent. Two of the most influential men in regards to our Constitution and the rights of man

You are a Hobbes adherent, a More adherent, and a Marx adherent; and you idolize Wilson and Roosevelt, two of the worst Presidents we have had, in addition to Obama. All of whom follow Hobbes, More, and Marx.

While I believe in the freedom of man, you inhale the capture of man with your visions of Utopia in America, which is basically a boot on the necks of average citizens. Your thoughts are the same as Wilson, Roosevelt, and Obama.

No thanks to those 3 sorry Presidents, America is now under the boot of a Federal government run amok. And the only recourse is a Constitutional Convention called by the individual States because everyone knows Congress will never call one.

Your own position discredits you in the eyes of true patriots who want America to return to the freedoms of individuals expressed in the Constitution, and to take off the boots of the Federal Government who oppresses its Citizens, including even your sorry liberties.

Empirical measurements of the Earth's heat content show the planet is still accumulating heat and global warming is still happening. Surface temperatures can show short-term cooling when heat is exchanged between the atmosphere and the ocean, which has a much greater heat capacity than the air.
To say we're currently experiencing global cooling overlooks one simple physical reality - the land and atmosphere are only one small fraction of the Earth's climate (albeit the part we inhabit). Global warming is by definition global. The entire planet is accumulating heat due to an energy imbalance. The atmosphere is warming. Oceans are accumulating energy. Land absorbs energy and ice absorbs heat to melt. To get the full picture on global warming, you need to view the Earth's entire heat content....

And your sorry link did NOT include the effects of Thermocline, which has huge affects upon the ever changing climate.
As Dave has pointed out, the climate is NOT static. It is ever changing due to natural occurrences not associated with man.
To say man has a big effect on the climate is just plain foolishness presented by those who expect to exploit the taxpayers and other folks with their hair-brained idea to sell a product or a license or a carbon credit.

The major commercial use of sodium fluoride is in the fluoridation of drinking water and in dentifrices. It also has uses in fluxes, in aluminum recovery, steel manufacture and in the manufacture of vitreous enamels. It is also used in wood preservatives and paper manufacture.
Sodium fluoride is used in the manufacture of G-type nerve agents in the same way as hydrogen fluoride.

Of course climate change is proven. The Earth's climate has been changing for millions of years! It will continue to change for millions of years more, with or without man.
So all the stuff we have spewed into the air for such a long time doesn't matter. Developing nations are adding to the mess with no concern for the outcome, just like we did. Its proven fact, live with it or prove it wrong. Silly statements like earths climate changes and have for millions of years sounds good. Fact is humans are having an impact on climate, to deny it is to ignore the facts. I get no facts from politicians, FNC, MSNBC, Beck, Rush or any of the many others who's point of view is molded by the profit motive. You can find people who refute climate change but they are in the minority. The vast majority of scientists world wide know our climate is being affected by humans actions. People just
want to hear the things we love to do won't hurt anyone, hogwash.

We just keep kicking the can of our failing dysfunctional society
and government, the economy and climate change down the road to the next generation and it's wrong.

You try to portray anyone that disagrees with you a a stupid bad guy. Well I am neither. I love the way you try to sound important and that everything that you say is a fact. Well it isn't.
More and more science that comes out everyday has findings that man isn't affecting the planet to any real degree. There has been no warming of the Earth in 15 years.
You have an unproven theory which as time goes on gets weaker and weaker.

I don't know how many of you got to see Sen. Rand Paul question Secretary Kerry today.
If you missed it you missed something. Sen. Rand Paul asked most all the pertinent questions of Secretary Kerry to answer about an attack on Syria. At least Paul is giving this some very serious thought about the outcome and uses logical common sense with his questions and comments.
To me Kerry gives his standard pre-prepared White House answers.
Kerry says "that if the U.S. doesn't hold Assad accountable with our allies and friends that he will do it again". What allies and friends are going to hold him accountable?
"Kerry also said Obama is not going to war". I say he is just attacking a nation which is a declaration of war.
The Washington know it all political elites are all backing President Obama to save him from himself.

I stopped because I realized most of the sources ALL OF US were using could be called into question. Of course, you are ALWAYS late to the dance, so no one expects much from you. Maybe you'll learn from this particular experience. Most(all but you?) of us have quit going after the sources. It doesn't matter. When our grandchildren ask us why we polluted the air and the water, and destroyed the wonderful planet God gave us,

We'll have to say because selfish, arrogant, short-sighted Right Wing Wackos, unwilling to sacrifice the slightest bit, we cared more for their own comfort, and who refused to sacrifice anything for anyone, and who laughed at our duty to care for God's gifts to us, prevailed over those who cared about the Earth, their children, and their children's children.

As Ronnie Ray-Gun and Bush the Beloved taught - screw everyone else - a good American is a greedy American.
