Well-articulated post.
I believe it completely wrong - but well-articulated.
Let's look at unvarnished facts-
Corporate profits are at an all-time high - so there is no pressure on employers to control and reduce employees' compensation - only the desire to enjoy even higher profits;
- Companies have been reducing full-time employees for years to avoid providing their employees benefits just ask any Fed-Ex/UPS/Walmart employee - ObamaCare is irrelevant;
- Companies for years have enjoyed corporate welfare by requiring taxpayers provide medical care for their low income employees and their families because of low wage, no benefits, part-time, and even "leased" employees who are forced to use the ER and government clinics for medical care - ObamaCare is irrelevant.
- none of this cost-cutting is necessary as corporate profits are exploding because American workers are more productive than any time in history.
That's the New American Capitalism:
privatize profits and socialize costs creating all-time high profits at taxpayers expense.
Seriously.......your village is looking for you. And yes. They are bringing the white jacket with them.

Still screaming like a little girl that your free medical care, which we working Americans pay for, is endangered by the demand that Right Wing Wackos actually pay their own way ?
Still screaming like a little girl that Right Wing Wackos might have to pay taxes to pay for their fun little wars they love to start around the world ?
Hey... killing people and burning buildings and blowing up homes is a lot of fun and giggles for you, we know, but it costs a lot if money.
Pay some taxes, buy medical insurance, and maybe the increased self-esteem will overcome that self-loathing.
Doubtful .... but possible.
Drunk again? Your village is coming for you because the people there are missing their idiot.

Here on Earth, we saw Romney say those things to the "Elite" at his private fundraiser - on a recording made at the time, and distributed widely prior to the election.
Maybe you missed it -
rural, poor, Socialist Security, Socialist Medicare, Socialists Medicaid, and Socialist V.A., dependent Union County residents maybe don't have electricity yet to allow them to watch T.V.
Oh wait ... thanks to that Socialist T.V.A.- they do.
Face it-
Own up to it -
Union County is made up of exactly those parasitic, government dependent, losers your own Right Wing Republican presidential candidate think need to just shut up and accept your role as serfs.
Pretend all you want - statistically that 47% is Union County defined.
Hey... No wonder RWWs have no self-esteem - even their own leaders hold them in contempt.
Step AWAY from the bottle! You are developing wet brain. That is why you keep repeating yourself. Whew! Glad we cleared THAT up. You're welcome.

Please.
I want to be at the bank when those Social Security checks aren't direct deposited.
I want to be at Union General when those 82 year olds are handed bills that Medicare used to pay.
I want to be at the V.A. Clinic when the doors are locked.
I want to watch those folks thrown onto the sidewalks from their Medicaid nursing home beds.
Please.
I want the pain caused by RWW lunacy experienced so that we can finally leave their idiotic hypocrisy behind.
Mostly:
I want to watch these "Independent" Right Wing Wackos pay their own way and watch them try to survive without their hands in my pocket.
Man! YOU are scared of your shadow in addition to all of your other issues. Scaredy cat. You had better hide under your bed. Woooooooooooooo. Better hide. Better hide. Oh...wait! You are strapped in a white jacket, sitting in a padded room and drooling. Oops.

As an lawyer, I quickly learned that people conduct business as corporations and companies for only two reasons: terrific tax treatment, and the complete absence of any personal liability to the owners or operators.
Corporations and companies are necessary - repeat for our Right Wing Friends - necessary - evils that must be regulated and monitored because absent such regulation, by design, they will destroy anything and everything around them to: privatize profits and socialize costs.
As to the average "owner of stock" -
If you believe a person,

that is managed by an "administrator",
that invests its funds using a corporate "advisor",
in a "mutual fund",
that owns shares of a "corporation",
managed by a board of directors,
actually has any idea who runs the corporation,
how much they're paid,
what their executive "parachutes" are,
and
whether or not the company is being run wisely,
you are smoking some damn fine weed.

Gore’s Dual Role: Advocate and Investor
By JOHN M. BRODER
Published: November 2, 2009
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/03/business/en...
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_does_Al_Gore_pr...
Some people point to his businesses that he has developed since leaving political office as evidence that he is using the fears of the public about global warming to personally profit. Al Gore owns several companies involved with the carbon trading market that receive money from CO2 offsets. Some publications have included that he, "could become the world's first carbon billionaire after investing heavily in green energy companies."
Nations that are involved in the UN Kyoto climate treaty can use credits from carbon trading markets to fulfill the 1997 Kyoto Protocol that requires mandatory cuts in greenhouse gases. These markets and their credits have been widely used as a method of encouraging carbon reduction via the carbon trading markets of the European Union, Japan and other nations that signed the Protocol. In such a cap-and-trade system, buyers can purchase their offsets from a broker or through electronic trading platforms. In Europe, carbon trading has been a reality since 2005 and carbon offsets have been traded electronically on the European Climate Exchange (ECX). This is similar to Mr. Gore's carbon trading market company.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol
http://www.carbontradewatch.org/carbon-connec...
What is the Kyoto Protocol?
In response to the threat of climate change, the UN passed the Kyoto Protocol in 1997, which was gradually ratified by 156 countries, and later infamously rejected by the world’s biggest polluters – the US and Australia. The Protocol sets the target of reducing emissions by an average of 5.2 percent below 1990 greenhouse gas levels by the year 2012. Emissions trading, the main mechanism for achieving this target, was pushed by the US in response to heavy corporate lobbying. The arrangement partitions and privatises the atmosphere and institutes the buying and selling of “permits to pollute” just as any other international commodity.
The Kyoto Protocol was a joke from the get go, now some say it may have only made those dreaded greenhouse gas emissions worse, oh the humanity.

This makes me believe that you are not normal and are in need of professional help. For your own good and your own safety please get help soon.

Thanks for the compliment, but as usual, you missed the point entirely.
You got the compensation package correctly, but then digressed into a misunderstanding of the economy we have lived under for the past 25 years or so. We now live in a "service economy," as most mfg jobs have moved offshore due to trade agreements. You can argue trade agreements all you want, but the fact remains they exist, and mfg jobs are offshore. Service jobs always pay less and require less skill, less hours, etc.. Automation in warehousing by itself is a huge percentage of the increase in productivity, another is the use of computers to do all the necessary details of running a business. While computer jobs are high paying, the warehousing and delivering jobs are low paying, always have been. Same goes for any big box stores that require a large payroll, whether full time or part time.

You also forget that Commerce between Peoples within a Nation, and Nations commercing with other Nations, either break or make a Nation. Profits are the main ingredient of Commerce.

Your "Utopianism in America" promotion would be a failure because it goes against the grain of human nature to succeed upon each individuals initiative to improve their lot in life for the comfort of themselves and their families.

Utopianism in America is nothing less than setting up a nation as a Commune.
Communes only work for a little while until all the resources everyone throws into the post is used up, then poverty takes over for the commune and the Nation.

And yet Obama calls the the School hero in Decatur Georgia to congratulate her on her courage in talking down another possible school shooting.
The White people who speak for Obama are just passing along the lies of Obama.
