Like CNBC, the worthless piece of journalistic garbage Athens Banner Herald is also a Presstitute.
Rather than criticizing the corrupt activities of the local lawless government here, they silently condone its gross improper activities. Examples,
You will never see a picture of a mostly empty public bus running around town wasting millions of tax dollars, polluting the air with cancer causing diesel exhaust, dangerously blocking traffic lanes and risking life threatening rear end collisions, or unfairly failing to provide service to discriminated areas of the country like U.S. 441 N, Commerce Rd. You will also never read any article by anyone in the employ of this trash sheet so called newspaper either.
You will never read any investigation, however minimal, into the illegal failure of government of Athens Clarke County to shut down the unsafe and unsanitary and illegal homeless squatter camp on the East side near the by pass and numerous other smaller ones all around the county, which camps violate not only local health and housing laws, but state and federal environmental laws as well due to routine urinating, defecating and garbage dumping by these outlaw squatters while the government wastes resources keeping the peace from the drunks and homeless outlaws for the benefit of downtown businesses. The health and safety of all citizens of Athens Clarke County are not important enough for the editors of this worthless excuse of a newspaper. Athens Clarke County is like third world country Haiti with even the corrupt Georgia Health Director, with her soft job sitting doing nothing in her office off Milledge ave., with the full knowledge that the corrupt Athens Banner Herald Presstitues will remain silent about her dismal failure to do her job too.
"When government becomes a lawbreaker it breeds contempt for the law"
In Athens the full military force and power of government is used to compel ordinary taxpayers to comply with the law, but when government itself is the lawbreaker, the authorities all look the other way up to and including the U. S. Department of justice.
One could write a book on the presstitutes at the Athens Banner Herald. Do not read it or buy it or suscribe to it. You could die of brain poisoning.
