What!? That is un-pennsylvanian.

Your supposed to pave the road then immediately dig it up to fix the gas pipes. Who do they think they are!?

Good to see high street paved. I refuse to drive on that road due to automotive suicide until it's repaved.

Lets hopr Mr Rebert (Hanover Borough)adjusts the water and sewer manhole covers to be even with the road. Not like Carlise St where some are 6" below the surface (Carlise and Elm). Yes the borough is resposible for these. I'm sure the borough employee's are very capable to do the job if Mr. Rebert can pry his butt cheeks apart and give the funds (unlike spending thousands of dollars digging wells and not getting permits and now the wells are capped).

How many people know what Mr. Rebert's qualifications were before he became borough manager?? I do, and it is not surprising that poor decisions are made on a continual basis.

I would love to have the money that he has cost Hanover. He has made some very big mistakes. The wells, library ect ect. Don't know how he keeps his job.

OK now all routes into Hanover from Gettysburg, Littlestown, and all points west will be under repaving projects. Route 30 is another slow go to get to route 94 to Hanover. Perfect planning again.

Plus don't forget all the CSX crossings that are closed. Hopefully they will do the paving under the lights at night to reduce the backups.

lol. I love it when they repave a stretch of road that's near a bridge, then tear out the bridge the next year to be replaced.

Well, I've noticed that Frederick Street has been repaved now, however, it is one inche below what was milled out and water pipes and manholes are now above the road surface. I certainly hope that they, JD Eckman, will be applying another layer of blacktop to even this out. All the intersections and the line at Adams County are extremely harsh differences to drive over. Other than the level of pavement, I think they've done a nice job on the section that is partially complete.
