Conshohocken and the surrounding area's future growth and quality of life rests on state officials ability to secure federal and state funds to plan, design, and construct a new bridge crossing the Schuylkill River.
This new proposed bridge should be located outside Conshohocken to divert traffic away from the borough. In addition, the new bridge will greatly reduce congestion in the entire area. The proposed bridge is supported by a majority of local residents, commuters, and government officials. How long do the residents and commuters who travel in this busy area need to wait for someone to take the lead on this critical subject? We owe it to future generations to fight strongly for this Delaware Valley key infrastructure improvement.
I strongly recommend concerned citizens notify their local and state representatives voicing their thoughts and concerns regarding this serious issue.
