Work halted on Oregon liquefied natural gas port
A natural gas company halted development Tuesday of a liquefied natural gas terminal near the mouth of the Columbia River in Oregon that was on track to be the first facility of its kind on the West Coast.

A catastrophy there would shut down alot of commerce...

What catastrophe? Show us in the books where there has been such a catastrophe with an LNG facility. The safeguards would have been in place.
What is more distressing is the loss of potential jobs and taxes for an economically depressed county, all based on fallacies and outright lies.
