Was it the BABY that was rushing to the next green? You write like you work for the Enquirer.

No knowledge of golf huh genius? I do like your rush to judgement though. Very refreshing.

Ok, first of all, that's a toddler, not an infant.

You can't be serious. Did you really imagine a 1-year-old crawling around on a golf course and getting hit by a distracted golfer?

Your first problem is that you assumed this happened on a golf course. Golf carts are used in places other than golf courses.

A more plausible explanation would be that someone was holding their baby while riding on a golf cart, they hit a bump or took a sharp turn, and the baby fell and got ran over. Of course, we don't know how this happened, but my explanation certainly makes more sense than the conclusion you jumped to.

And I looked on Google Maps to verify, and there's no golf course around where this happened.

Moron. The address given on wesh.com shows the incident occurred in a residential neighborhood, with no golf course in sight.

Did this actually happen on a golf course, or was somebody driving a cart around the yard? And, Lordy, doesn't anyone watch their children any more? Parents: you have to be aware of where your babies and children are ALL THE TIME.
I hope and pray this little one is OK.

According to wesh.com FHP is taking over the investigation. Is that strange? I wonder why/how FHP got involved...

I was thinking this too. Guess we'll find out eventually. The poor baby.

That's what I was wondering, if this in fact happened on a golf course or a residential community where people ride around on golf carts? No other details at this time, I was also wondering if the little one was being held while on the cart and fell out of the persons' arms into the path of the wheels, or maybe this child and an older child were playing around the cart and the older child or someone else started it up...? Whatever happened - I hope and pray that the little one makes it through ok. Very sad.

uh Lily? Did you read the article or just go straight to the comments? While you were coming up with your "plausible" theory, I was reading the article and found out how it happened. You should try that instead of stalking the neighbors with google maps.

Speaking of quick to pass judgment, they just updated the story so when the ideas about how it happened were being blogged, the story didnt tell the details. Feeling better about yourself now?
