It's interesting how those in that community wanted to bash the Aspers Fire Department for their dirty laundry but say nothing when you have a Daycare that has been shut down 2 times prior to this, an now had a child molester there that is owned an oporated by members of the Bendersville Fire Department....WTF? Before those of you who want to air out others laundry...make sure you do yours first.

You dont even know bonnie. She is a brilliant person who oh yeah has successfully ran her business. By the way he wasnt a volunteer he was a caregiver meaning nobody needed to be by his side holding his hand
With all due respect, as a former day care director at a licensed center, you are wrong. The story stated that he was an aide. An aide, by DPW regulations, is not allowed to be alone with the children. Someone who meets Assistant Group Supervisor or Group Supervisor must be with an aide at all times. Therefore, if this man was left alone with a child, Bonnie was in violation of the DPW regulations and is therefore responsible for this horrible incident.

Also, even if DPW doesn't shut her down, how many parents do you think are going to trust her with their children? She is going to be closed down one way or another (hopefully by DPW).

What was the daycare shut down twice for previously? Sadly (at least in my opinion) the DPW will allow the daycare to remain open while it is being investigated. The most recent article about the daycare says that

"A year before Raymond L. Messinger was arrested earlier this month, at least one parent raised concerns of inappropriate touching to the day care in a "concern report" provided to The Evening Sun by attorney Benjamin D. Andreozzi."

I'd like to know why that was never investigated further. If it had been Bonnie and rest of the daycare staff could have saved a lot of children from becoming victims. I'm infuriated by this story.

If the previous concern raised about inappropriate touching is true, the place needs shut down post haste. There is no reason to allow a business with possibly 2 strikes for the same crime to remain open.
