WMZQ's Brian and Jenni

I feel like I lost my close friends. I would get up every morning and Brian and Jenny would help me get through my whole morning routine. I am in mourning! The new guy's voice is too high for my tastes and there is no banter since he is by himself. Now I have to go find some new "radio DJ friends."
It's Halloween so I'm supposed to be saying, "boo". Instead I'm saying, "Boo Hoo".

I started listening to WMZQ in 1977! Loved Jim London and Mary Ball and hated it when and how they left but then went on to LOVE the Ben and Brian show. I quit listening after Ben Campbell left - did NOT like the Brian and Jenni show at all. Jenni is a whiny drama queen. WMZQ lost this loyal listener when Ben Campbell left.

I think we should all write to Meg Stevens and tell her what we think. I hate the stationed fired Jim and Seth, I hate the Ben felt the need to leave and go to a station in Pheonix, I hate that they hired Michael J and Jeffro, I hate that they fired Brian Egan, but I REALLY hate Boxer. The man is a moron. He may have had a great afternoon show in Ohio, but his morning show skills suck. I've been loyal to WMZQ since I moved here in 91, but no more. Guess I'll listen to WTOP and get my country fix from my IPod.

Sure miss Brian in the morning....I felt like he was family. I tried Boxer and he is a mess....I am completely aggravated with how they handled his departure and sent emails to the station...with no response of course! WMZQ made a big mistake here...lost another loyal (20 yrs) listener here!

I got in my car one morning after returning from vacation on my way to work. And I found myself bored and annoyed with the radio talk I was listening to. I thought to myself, who changed the channel!!! I went to turn the channel back to WMZQ and imagine my surprise when I realized that it WAS WMZQ! Or atleast the channel was the same.
CC made a big mistake firing Brian, he was the best thing they had. I loved him and Ben and then him and Jenni.
This new doofus they have in the morning is a sorry replacement.
I'm moving on to XM...unless anyone knows where Brian went???

I agree with what everyone is writing. I too have tried to listen to Boxer in the morning, but I just can't stand the sound of his voice. I've been switching around on stations trying to find one I like.

Brian knew he was gonna be let go because of the advertising dollars that weren't comingin.He was one of the best and got more money than many.So what else would a station do but to let thehighest paid go first..Bad decision..

You guys are all crazy. Brian is probably a great person, but listening to him on the radio reminded me of being in preschool. I've never heard a radio personality that made me feel like they were talking to all of the infants that might be listening. Boxer has started a little slow, but anything is better than Brian.

I have given it several weeks and just don't get it. I normally prefer Boxers - however, I can only hope his stay at WMZQ is Brief! If not, I will put satellite radio on my Christmas list!

I miss Brian so much. I was really, REALLY confused when I didnt hear Brian in the morning anymore. It was weird enough having Jenni do the entire show by herself for like two weeks, but then Boxer moved in and Jenni moved to the late-morning-early-afternoon show??? BOO!!! Boxer is annoying! I really miss Brian... I've been listening to Elliot in the Morning on DC 101 simply because 1.) its already on my presets and 2.) its better than Boxer. I still listen to WMZQ streaming at work and in the car on the way home. But my mornings are definitely spent with Elliot now. I dont know what Clear Channel was thinking :-(

So if you can get Thunder 104.5 - SWITCH!!!!!! I can't get it in my car, but I can get it at work and it is well worth listening to. They play a GREAT mix of today's music and, if you loved Jim London's America's music, "oldies". WMZQ has lost this "loyal listener" forever!

WMZQ has lost another loyal listener. I stuck by their side while they kept 'letting go' of many great DJ's but, this is the last straw! They are gone from my radio now. Elliot from DC101 is my choice in the mornings and satellite on the way home from work.

Clear Channel has screwed up again!
